This game made me realize i was born to gaslight everybody just like Henry Of Gaslitz

good setting, exploration and sense of discovery. combat is terrible but thankfully is very easily cheesed, here is how: enemies cannot fight you on horseback, you can joust them to death with impunity. use this to, first, kill all of the cumans in the tutorial for an incredible headstart on progression, then after the prologue go to skalitz and farm the respawning NPC battle until you get the stinger sword. after this, win every combat for the rest of the game by walking up to enemies, mashing mouse 2 to win the clinch, then press mouse 2 again to stab them in the face for a 1 shot kill on 90% of the people you will fight. if fighting a group, perfect block when enemies on your periphery attack and you will usually do a master strike that also instantly kills them

Just got drunk with a priest, we got into a bar fight which I helped win, in victory climbed to the top of the church and rang the bell. To then sleep with the town ♥♥♥♥♥♥, wake up hungover, and then have to give a sermon in the church because the priest was too drunk and puking everywhere. 10/10 One of the best RPG's I have played in quite some time. I held off buying this when this game was first released due to the rampant reports of bugs. Some are certainly still there, but for a game of this size I can overlook much of it. The graphics for an 8 year old game, are quite excellent and still hold up today. The HD packs I am sure help with that and I had them all installed. No issues running this game well over 60FPS on a decently specced PC. I recommend the DLC, while not all of them are good like "A women's lot", the "Band of Bastards" one was great, as was the one with Sir Capon. Having the additional one to rebuild Pribyslavitz was interesting as well and gives you something to spend your coin on. The controls / combat certainly take some getting used to, but I think that's some of the appeal to the game. Either you like it or you don't. So overall, excellent story / writing here which sets itself up nicely for KCD2 which I'll transition to. Voice acting is top notch as well and certainly a highlight. Some bugs and crashes here or there, but overall much more stable then at release. Definitely can recommend this to anyone looking to get into a medieval type of action RPG.

The game is unforgiving, but the beauty must be admired! Took me three different attempts to get into this game over the years, only now with the fourth attempt have I actually learnt to appreciate the game for what it is! Buy at own risk :)
