Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

The game is highly scripted. The first hour or so is an interactive movie with a few dialog and combat choices. The game then lulls you into thinking you can actually have choices only to throw you into another scripted movie sequence. The combat is wonky as ♥♥♥♥. The camera auto locks on a combatant and its difficult to disengage so you can defend your flank if another enemy engages you. You get into long running battles that that have no way to save progress that can fail due to Npcs dying. I am still going to try to finish it, It's just frustrating.

Story and characters of the game are legendary. I didn't expected it to be so huge and rich with content, twists and story arcs. Sound and graphics are great as well. Game mechanics are not so good in comparison (especially crafting and alchemy), but still much improved over KCD1. I didn't like how much walking I had to do, but it was still an amazing experience. Great game, amazing RPG, I recommend it to everyone! :)

2025年最伟大的游戏

Pros: Good open world play. Fun hours exploring the world. Cons: Is this game woke? -> Yes Sadly the fun hours, of doing anything beside progressing the main quest, is a trojan horse. It is already bad enough that this game pissed on historical. But as you progress with the main questline, this game reveals it disgusting and diabolical ideologies. IYKYK Warhorse? More like little phony. Will not recommend to anyone decent.

Literally just temu skyrim without all the mods. Can't believe it was nominated for game of the year.
