Kimmy

背景是在1968年的美国，讲述了Dana作为保姆带着Kimmy交朋友并一起做游戏的温馨故事。每天25美分的工钱，用来买几美分一个的游戏道具，然后带着Kimmy与朋友们玩；可惜的是没有加入实际的游戏系统，不过都进行了简单的介绍，大多是流传范围很广的儿童游戏。 包括跳房子(Hopscotch)，井字棋(Tic-tac-toe)，抓沙包(Jacks)，弹珠/溜溜(Marbles)，东南西北(想了好一会儿才记起来)(Cootie catcher)，热土豆/击鼓传花(Hot Potato)，躲避球/沙袋(Dodge ball)，快艇骰子(Yahtzee)，咬苹果(Apple bobbing)，Bloody Knuckles，掷马蹄铁(Horseshoe)，踢罐子(Kick the can)，Limbo，Double-dutch，接扔球/飞盘(Catch)，Bouncyball，波板球(Paddle ball)，翻花绳(Cat's cradle)等…… 中间的一些内容也很有意思，比如父母在家忙的时候常把小孩子用绳子拴在门把手上或者走廊里等……本小说在对话中掺杂了丰富的主题，虽然都很简短，但Dana对Kimmy各时刻的关照和一些行为的解释与教育很温心。 总之，看到这些小游戏，感觉和上一代的世界人民都找到了共同语言一般，即便都已经是历史的尘埃了——想必在目前的各方面技术进入瓶颈期之前，逐渐过时的存在，都会变成值得回忆的东西了吧。虽说看不到之后的发展，但想来并不需要很担心几十年后情怀会变成什么样子，可日记总是很好的东西，虽然写起来感觉很糟糕。 总的来说，不错的短篇，题材和内容也很喜欢，缺点还是略显压抑，另外如果能加一些简单的小游戏就更好了。

I like the premise of what the devs were trying to do with this game; but the characters and dialogue just didn't click for me. The characters, even as children, felt incredibly awkward. For this type of game I feel that you need compelling characters and at least a little bit of intrigue to carry the plot forward and I just didn't get that in my time with the game.

I played this when I got a copy from Humble Bundle and forgot I had a Steam key--this game is seriously intense, believe it or not. If you have young children it is probably going to absolutely destroy you, so keep that in mind going into the experience. But I mean, I did enjoy playing it!

A sweet game where you babysit Kimmy, a girl who’s often alone. You have a couple of hours each day to chat and play games with other kids in your neighbourhood (which sounds easy, but if you didn’t play these growing up, you might have to guess the rules!) It’s simple and cute, but it also touches on certain parental issues through the more innocent lens of Dana, the 10-year-old protagonist. A pleasant and slightly melancholic way to spend an afternoon, especially a warm summer afternoon!

I like it. Very minimalistic and short but manage to catch good emotional balance between childish and something darker in background with make whole story compelling.

Un descorazonador juego de novela visual con un estilo artístico reseñable. No leas mucho acerca de la trama o no provocará ningún impacto en ti. He aprendido más de juegos de la infancia con este juego que en mi propia infancia. Es demasiado corto!

Pros - Cozy artstyle - Charming characters and dialog - Poignant story - Entirely playable with mouse. - Some replayability Cons - You buy toys and you choose the rules to play games but you don't actually play games. I think the developers missed a trick here for not implementing some mini-games. Overall recomended.
