10/10 would cry again
This game encapsulates a wonderful phrase from Mr. Fred Rogers, "We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It's easy to say, 'It's not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem.' Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes." I'm so glad I took the time to enjoy this game. What a great reminder to look for someone who needs kindness. Especially that weird little girl that walks around town in a ratty nightgown! <3

I like the premise of what the devs were trying to do with this game; but the characters and dialogue just didn't click for me. The characters, even as children, felt incredibly awkward. For this type of game I feel that you need compelling characters and at least a little bit of intrigue to carry the plot forward and I just didn't get that in my time with the game.

8/10 - A short visual novel. Finished it for about 2 hours. - I love the illustrations. Very cute and unique! - Good story - Interesting conversations throughout the entire game - The ending tho........ PART 2 WHEN???
A sweet game where you babysit Kimmy, a girl who’s often alone. You have a couple of hours each day to chat and play games with other kids in your neighbourhood (which sounds easy, but if you didn’t play these growing up, you might have to guess the rules!) It’s simple and cute, but it also touches on certain parental issues through the more innocent lens of Dana, the 10-year-old protagonist. A pleasant and slightly melancholic way to spend an afternoon, especially a warm summer afternoon!
This is a really beautiful game full of emotions. It is a sort of detective game about childhood and family difficulties. I really like the character development and the friendships that develop.
Very sweet, emotionally compelling game with rich worldbuilding and complex characters. More of a picture book than a game proper, but I think it works very well given the material. Very few games (or media in general) take the inner lives of young children seriously, even less young girls. Very relatable themes and feelings to anyone whose ever been a child. It’s very short but worth your time.
This is easily one of my favourite games yet and worth every penny. The story is amazing, the dialogues between every single character with another too. I must mention that almost every character has an obvious issue that comes out as the story progresses. The more you interact, the bigger idea you get about what this story actually represents. The start really does make it seem like a generic, happy story.. to avoid spoilers, try it yourself. It will be worth your time. Kimmy is an amazing character and her development is too, I never suspected it would end like it did.
