About
Built for fans of classic boomer shooters and old-school campaigns, Melted Valor™ delivers fast-paced, no-nonsense single-player action without the grind, frustration, or distractions of modern multiplayer. Just pure, adrenaline-fueled gameplay—nothing fancy, just fun.
In Melted Valor™, the peaceful days of the Green Forces are over. Once guardians of the neighborhood’s harmony, they now find themselves pressed into a brutal conflict against the relentless Tan menace.
The Tan have turned to sinister methods—manipulating local bug tribes through toxic chemicals, bending them into weapons of war, and conscripting other toys from across the community: robots, action figures, dolls, all forced into their ranks.
To an outsider, they may look like toys. But to them, this is no game. This is an unforgiving war—one that will decide the future of their world. Every skirmish, every lost comrade, every hard-fought victory carries weight.
The Green Forces must fight to protect their homes, their friends, and their way of life before it’s too late.
Prepare yourself for a desperate struggle across backyards, bedrooms, and beyond… the fate of the neighborhood is in your hands.

About the only fun thing about this game is the music and the trailer. The Idea is not novel but at least consistently pulled off, but the execution is all over the place. For 8 bucks it deserves a chance, but not in its current state.
So far its really fun! Please add controller support!
As a kid, we spent hours playing with our plastic soldiers, so when I saw a video game that brought that to life, I was all in. The game does a great job of re-creating the feel of what it was like to “play soldier.” I love the graphics—they strike just the right balance of detail without ruining the effect that you’re dealing with toys. I definitely got a Toy Story vibe and kept thinking of “mean Sid” every time I saw the mangled toys. As others have mentioned, each level starts out with the same basic rifle, and you can then find other weapons like the flamethrower, machine gun, and sniper rifle. Oh yeah, can’t forget the hand grenades. While there is a Save option, I found that it doesn’t allow for mid-level saves, so if you don’t have time to finish a level, you’ll have to start over. The developer is very responsive on the board, and if you run into any issues, he’s quick to help out and post fixes. Overall, the game is very solid, and I had no major problems. I did have to bump the quality down for the Toy Shop, but that may have been caused by a recent Windows update. I plan to replay it again since I missed a lot of details on the first play through—there’s just so much eye-candy to take in.
Video Review This is a great nod back to the classic army men games. The game felt just like you were playing them, and it seems like the developer really tried to encompass that nostalgia into the game as well paying great homage to them. Even if you never played the classics this is still a great game. This game is flawed. When shooting Invisible walls, enemies shooting through walls, enemies not caring if shot seeming to only activate when you hit a certain area, I think too much recoil on the guns themselves. I know it can be challenging for a solo dev to do a lot, but this is a game worth playing even though it is rough around the edges. Definitely worth checking out. The game really is a rough gem worth cutting. Adding more chapters is nice though working on some of the issues would help. Army Men / 10
This guy obviously wanted to make this game since he was seven and, though it needs a little (read: a lot, being able to turn off the hud and crosshair and the sound effect when you press the sprint button, being able to pick up ammo without changing to the corresponding weapon) but he's constantly updating the game, putting in a lot of effort and it shows. Frankly, I've wanted to play this game since I was seven too.
A bit simple, but for a first time making a game+ a solo dev it's well worth the 8$ i spent playing it. The only things i would like to see more of is more weapons, and being able to drive the vehicles. (make teddybear mechs on the green side would go hard) streamed it live here: twitch.tv/cvnka
Great Game. Some issues here and there. Nothing too bad. Beat the main campaign twice and the DLC once. Its awesome.
Great concept, art, and music. Had some play issues when I first started playing but the dev fixed everything quickly and now it plays smooth. It's cool to know they listen and care and make things happen when they know there's an issue. The developers are clearly passionate about this game. You can see it in everything about it. My favorite was playing as the tan. I already know this will be put in my regular rotation and I'll be playing through probably every year.
This game started off not too bad, but then... holy ♥♥♥♥♥. The recoil on the guns is a little too crazy. Hard to hold a target in basic sight. And it takes lots of shots to kill a dude, no matter how good a shot you think you are. They key is to get up close to them and then you've got em in about 4 shots. And then, the Respawning, WTF!!! You play along the level and you're close to done and then die. What happens? You go all the way back to the beginning of the level!! Do it all over again. Which is another sore point in this game - the Save Game mode. There is none. Basically. There are no save slots. Just one save that you can click which doesn't work. If you click save in the middle of the level, tough ♥♥♥♥, you're respawning back at the level beginning again. Mother ♥♥♥♥♥!!! And it's got some image/video/frame glitches and places that you can get trapped in... Restart. And last but not last, there are no Difficulty level settings at all. No Easy/Normal/Hard/WTF. Just one Difficulty level for everyone. Just great. If you have lots of patience, and lots of weed, play this game. Otherwise you might need a gun with just one bullet.
Super fun! Needs some audio tweaks and the sound settings wont apply for me after adjusting but i highly recommend trying this out!
