About
“GIT GUD AND DIE TRYING”
Kill to Collect is a cyberpunk rogue-like for up to four player co-op that is designed for short bursts of intense gameplay sessions, rewarding players for their skilled survival. Featuring procedurally generated levels, Kill to Collect brings a constant challenge. No two experiences are the same and every interaction could be the difference between life and death.
Set in Geoshelter Alpha, a dangerous and dystopian world that is the last known city on Earth, hired bounty “Hunters” patrol the lawless slums below to defeat enemies and reinstill order. Whether hired for money or glory, the “Hunters” all follow the same code: Kill to Collect.
Diverse Gameplay and Characters
You will play as one of four “Hunters,” each with their own abilities and fighting styles. With a diverse cast of characters, each single player run offers a different gameplay experience. Mix and match Hunters in co-op to create complementary team builds and unique synergies.
The playable characters include:
Kate Katana - The leader of the group and an all-around badass, sword-wielding, warrior woman.
Ivan Ironfist - The pretty boy raver who packs a punch with his bionic arms and has no need for physical weapons.
Riot Ray - The tanky former Corp officer who believes the best offense is a good defense.
Shocking Shelly - The rocket-fueled mechanic who fights with her homemade biomata suit, turrets and electrocution.
Strategic Co-Op Multiplayer
Encouraging collaboration and precision, Kill to Collect offers a unique co-op multiplayer experience so you can team up with friends to face the perils ahead.

Reviews
This games been out for over 8 years, less than 200 steam users have reviewed it in that time: i'm someone who started playing this game late starting on 10-06-2024. Once i started searching for any mods that might improve the god awful gameplay especially with the food stamps rng (lol) i noticed that building my character with the added risk of running yellow skull rooms only depends if the rng is going to give you health for hardmode or damage for normal/easy mode, tech power isn't really explained, most food stamp upgrades are weak, idk how high the tiers of each upgrade go on them but with all the variety of food to choose from and the price of each food, upgrading your character in the longterm based around complete rng can make or break your run, every character in this game is pretty much melee-midrange with left click as the auto attack and right click as a stun attack each character has it's own passive uniqueness to them for example kate can kite alot easier versus riot ray where you can do a small spin and take a hit to his back with a shield that auto-regenerates. using the dodge with the other 3 characters does almost nothing when fighting certain enemies, in particular the enemies with a sword and shield. They might have an advantage with enemies using guns but i don't know. it's a shame there have been zero expansions on character development, UI development, i noticed that golden weapons could've had previews and never got them, enemies could've had a bestiary and never got that etc. etc. etc. it's crazy how this game was slapped together with all these tough challenges and multiplayer with leaderboards but in reality the entire game is nothing but a wasteland of deadness. nobody is ever online and the devs look like they left a long time ago probably to work on some other game like kill to collect part 2 or something for all i know. overall this game has it's kicks in multiplayer and it's whatevers in solo gameplay. in conclusion: the game has alot of holes in it, and 4 limiting characters to play as with zero mods, everytime you do a google search on the game a few youtubers have done a few older uploaded videos of gameplay covering what you see which is what you get.
Really slow paced and boring, sadly, the game uses a luck system when determining available upgrades for each "end zone" of a floor, so you just have to hope that you have some good choices that compliment your playstyle - Another frustrating thing about the game is the lack of healing that you get, the things you get are really weak compared to the damage the enemies do and once the enemies start getting shields that effectively negate you first attack every 6 seconds or so, it just becomes stupid. Starting over from the beginning of the bounty each time too And while it certainly has potential for good Co-op play, i would suspect that splitting the scarce resources for upgrades between two or more people, AND having a random upgrade system would result in very unbalanced combat in the confined rooms that they put you in The game is fun for the first few bounties because its introducing their mechanics and things and you learn how best each class functions, but, once you have literally 30+ enemies in one room against 1 player... you're kinda doomed just to start over - So, it becomes a waste of time IMO I can't remember how much I paid for this, but I played it a little while before and got bored, returned to play it again some years later, got about an hour of play out of it before I got bored and couldn't be bothered with the slow, clunky combat that has poor hit-boxes and balancing issues. So, whatever i paid for it at the time, I honestly don't think i got my money worth. Save your money, there are far better games out there that give you better freedom to play *how* you want
Kill to collect is probably the one masterpiece of our generation that has slipped through the cracks. Experience a deep lore as you're immersed into some sort of cyber punk city in a distopia or something. You meet interesting characters with complex back stories. Don't get too attached though as the twists and turns in the story will have you second guessing why this wasn't picked up by a major hollywood studio. I laughed, I cried, I collected bounties. 10/10
you have to kill to collect

Demasiado lento y simple.
