About
Keep on Mining! is a simple incremental game. Hover your cursor over rocks to automatically mine them. Any rock inside the mining area will spawn pickaxes that mine for you!
Mined rocks drop ores, which are crafted into bars. There is a variety of different material rocks to be mined!
Spend your material bars to unlock upgrades inside the skill tree. These upgrades permanently boost your stats, letting you mine rocks with more power!
Use different materials to craft new pickaxes. Each new pickaxe has better stats, helping you mine faster and hit harder!
Every time you level up, you earn a talent point. Spend talent points to reveal 3 random talent cards — pick one to keep! Choosing a card increases the talent level, but also increases rock HP.
Once you unlock the mine, it will automatically mine rocks and instantly craft bars for you. The Mine is the idle mechanic of Keep on Mining!

I paid full price and completed all achievements in two sittings across 8 hours. A little rough around the edges and very, VERY simple - like Newgrounds flash game simple. Bottom line up front - this is easy to recommend as part of a bundle or on sale, but a little harder to recommend at full price unless you already know exactly what to expect. Your core gameplay loop is to hover over rocks. You "mine" automatically by hovering over the rocks. After a sufficient number of pickaxe strikes (based on your damage and the HP of the mineral you're trying to collect), you automatically collect the mineral. Rounds in this game are short - ballpark 15 seconds in the early game, and never at any point longer than a minute. As such, the game feels very fast-paced and you feel the effect of your upgrades pretty much immediately. You'd think this would be a good thing, but unfortunately the skill tree in this game SUCKS. It is terrible to read at a glance, it meanders in multiple different directions at once, there's no clear or obvious meaning as to why certain upgrades are grouped together, and you can lock yourself into extremely slow progression in the early game if you don't prioritize going as "right" on the skill tree as much as possible to unlock new minerals. That said, there are other leveling systems like the artifact system (passive buffs that you find randomly), and the talent system (to unlock passive buffs as you level up). These scale well and feel meaningful.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

For 5 bucks u get 4 hours of game play even though sometimes it feels stagnant i enjoyed it solid 7/10
★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆

5 hours of game play and finished the game. i think €2 euro would fit the default price for this game

Fun and satisfying but progress seems to really slow down around the mid-late game, much more time must be spent for the same amount of relative progress so there's some pacing issues there. Ideally the later part of the game would keep the same pace, or it would be balanced out to be equal across the board as to not feel like you're jumping from 1 balance patch to another about mid-way through. Ideal game to play while watching a movie or something, but it isn't a true idler by any stretch of the imagination, it is an active-play game, but does it require your full attention? No, not at all. Nearing the last hour you can see the end in sight but it just takes so long to acquire the required amount of resources to get those last few things needed to 100% the game. Bit of a mixed bag for me, it started to get boring near the end but for the price on sale it was fine.
