First 30 mins are fun but as you progress it gets quite boring because: Linear Skill Tree You don't get more powerful Higher Tier fishes don't give more money when upgrading base fish value ... When you finish the game (the skill tree) there is literally nothing. Not even an achievement?
A few hours of very repetitive nothingness. Play something else, like an actual game. 0/5 - Terrible.

Boring...
No. Play Profit Sea Incremental instead. This is basically the same exact game, but much worse. Edit: Apparently they used AI to make this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game... ♥♥♥♥ AI. Double negative for this ♥♥♥♥. You start the fishing day, it feels like a slog at the start, but you get a few fish caught and an orange bar goes up. When it's full you get to pick between one of three useless upgrades... That's okay, they'll add up eventually? No, they're just for that session.... lame. So in the end, this is just another long slog to get another perfect game, that's all the achievements. I'd have refunded it, but I bought this before my computer died, so I had to wait a while before I could start it. Great... So each session takes about 15 seconds, and that's fine, it doesn't outstay it's.... oh, some upgrades on the extremely linear tree are to increase how long a session takes. In the end it's about a minute long. You need to catch 75k total fish for one of the achievements, you're going to be sitting through a lot of minutes of nothing. I'm watching tv at the same time, but the three upgrades I have to keep picking, even though quite frankly, they're extremely ♥♥♥♥, keep pausing the game until I pick one. So I can't even ignore this game. Every now and then your XP bar will fill. (I have no idea what XP does, it doesn't seem to affect anything.) and after twenty levels Giant fish will eat you, abruptly ending that session. So you'll have to start another session because when the giant fish eats you, you don't make a lot of money... -_- The giant fish eats you multiple times.... Not really sure what's going on there, because quite frankly, I should be dead by this point... or fish poop... or maybe I'm being eaten by the giant fish in the bigger fishes stomach? I have no idea. When you finish the skill tree, that's it. There's no infinite set of upgrades, there's no special extra upgrade... it just abruptly finishes and you don't get very powerful. Actually, most fish still take ages to catch... or disappear while you're trying to catch them, just in the middle of nowhere. Giant fish still swim past in the background, you're not catching them. And when you "finish" the game... there's still likely to be two more achievements. Catch 75k fish and go fishing 200 times. If you do get the game, let me save you some time on the 200 times one. If you press escape and end session, you can quickly start another, just do this however many more times you need to do and you'll get that achievement done. But the 75k fish achievement... you're going to need to actually play the game some more for that one... and the game was already outsataying it's welcome in the first 20 minutes. Now it has been two and a half hours, I want to play literally anything else just to stop playing this. I hope this helped... Either way, thanks for reading, or skipping to the end. Have a lovely day. Have a lovelier day by skipping this game.
Spend 2$ more and get a way more polished, enjoyable, and content filled game by purchasing "Fish to Dish: Idle Sushi" Somehow this game manages to do the bare-minimum even for $3
This game is really fun and well-made. The graphics look great, the gameplay is smooth, and it keeps me entertained for hours. Definitely one of the best games I've played recently!
