Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

the katamari franchise as a whole really stands out for its quirky surrealist artstyle and a simple, yet very satisfying gameplay loop. although occasionally frustrating to control (especially when you get stuck in some stupidass corner), funnily enough, i feel like the concept could work as an actually pretty solid handheld/mobile experience, which makes me wonder why those entries in the franchise never really landed well. still, the original katamari damacy experience holds up amazingly, and is elevated by the absolutely legendary ost! very reflective of the wide net of musical influences that typically inspire the shibuya-kei scene, and aiming to be just as all-over-the-place and fun as the game itself, it's no wonder why this is considered to be one of the greatest achievements in the realm of videogame music. it's the most obvious pick, but "Lonely Rolling Star" was the one song i always looked foward listening to the most during my playthrough... it really captures this warm, bittersweet taste of childhood and regularly manages to make me a little happier, which is a rare effect for a song to have on me. i think katamari damacy makes it clear how a relatively simple idea can be brought to another level when paired with a very strong artistic identity, which is often the main thing i look for in videogames

I rolled, and rolled, and rerolled.
Я как упавший чупачупс на ковер, под музыку вайбик собираю волосы и всякую грязь, вкусновато но маловато
The whimsy is unmatched.
This game's music is just chef's kiss... I keep coming back to this game just to listen to the music. finally 100%'d this game. getting the last 2 achievements was actually painful asf, but the music and the quirky dialogues of the king got me through it. The gameplay itself is just rolling a ball and collecting everything and everyone in its way, sometimes even makes you feel like war criminal XD. Overall, fun little classic game.
you get to put everyone who's ever wronged you into a ball. sometimes the ball gets stuck and it's annoying to get it unstuck but this game is too good at a conceptual level to ever be bad
Nuh nuhnuhna nana nana
[도전과제 100%] 기괴한 컨셉과 모든 것을 집어삼키는 원초적인 쾌감은 여전히 독보적. ------------------------------------------------------- The bizarre concept and the primal satisfaction of consuming everything are still unmatched.
Tough to learn at first, but once you get the hang of it, you cannot stop. Rolling up everything in sight is insanely satisfying, and the gameplay loop is strangely addictive—you just keep going “one more roll.” The music is super relaxing and actually makes you feel good while causing chaos. Honestly, I hated this game at first… and now I can’t stop playing it LOL. Totally worth giving a shot if you enjoy something weird, fun, and oddly calming.
