Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What a privilege to experience an undeniably simple joy executed with such infectious passion

te amo
There is nothing like Katamari Damacy. Its controls take some getting used to, but once you do, its patented 30FPS gameplay gives you the whimsical experience of becoming your dad without realising it. If that sounds like pretentious ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to you, keep reading. I'm bringing this up for an important lifestyle strat. The Museum of Modern Art has a playable copy of this game on permanent display. MoMA (which, in a sick twist of New York wit, also contains Dada) also has free Friday evening admission for NY State residents. If you move there, you can skip the Steam fees entirely and play the game for free once a week between 5:30 and 8:30 PM. I guess it's a matter of which you'd rather pay money for. The choice is yours.

Roll ball around. Pick up things. Make bigger ball. Roll more things.
Katamari Damacy REROLL is one of those games that makes absolutely no sense on paper, but becomes pure joy the moment you start rolling a sticky ball of chaos through the world. The idea is simple - you roll a katamari that picks up everything smaller than it, gradually growing from tiny household objects to entire city-block-devouring monstrosities. And somehow, that simple loop is unbelievably satisfying. The charm of the game is unmatched. Everything is colorful, weird, and intentionally absurd, from the strange king constantly judging you to the bizarre soundtrack that sticks in your head for days. It’s the kind of game that fully commits to its own nonsense and becomes better because of it. Gameplay-wise, it starts slow and a bit awkward, but once you get used to the controls and size progression, it becomes incredibly addictive. Watching your tiny ball slowly turn into an unstoppable disaster is always fun, and each stage has its own creative twist on what you’re supposed to collect. The good: - Extremely unique and creative concept - Incredibly addictive “roll and grow” gameplay loop - Fantastic, unforgettable soundtrack - Bright, colorful, and charming visuals - Funny and surreal sense of humor - Great sense of progression in each level - Simple controls that become satisfying over time - Relaxing but chaotic at the same time - Strong personality and style throughout - Timeless and original game design The bad: - Controls feel awkward at first - Camera can be frustrating in tight spaces - Some levels have strict time limits - Repetition can set in during longer sessions - Not much depth beyond the core mechanic - Difficulty spikes depending on stage goals - May feel too simple for some players - Story presentation is intentionally weird and confusing Overall, Katamari Damacy REROLL is a joyful, chaotic, and completely unique experience that stands out even today. It’s simple, strange, and endlessly charming, and once it clicks, it’s very hard to stop rolling.
This is a very broken port of the game. Good job, Namco. 🙄
