Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days

not an amazing game but a masterpiece that the devs should be proud of. the aesthetics and general vibe of the game is unmatched, there really is nothing as gritty and downright dirty as Dog Days. The bright neon lights smacked around with overflowing bins and tv gore coverup effects, plus the okay shooting and movement make a game that needs to be played at least once. there's no happy ending, the entirety of Shanghai is trying to kill you and the two MC's hate each other and by god I love it. all the little camera effects make everything pop and thank god for steadycam but if you can play without it please do because the nausea inducing shaking when you run adds even more. i've beaten this before on my 360 and I love how crisp it looks on my laptop. Multiplayer is dead but f it you've got the campaign and arcade mode to satisfy you. I love it to bits

You know they don't make them like they used to. It very much has the exact tropes of the genre and that era of gaming but I do think because it is so short and its aesthetics so unique its worth checking out and playing through. I think theres some issues with the audio with my computer not sure what that is about.

Played this game in co-op while sick, genuinely nearly drove me insane with how the very code appears to be ripping itself apart as you play it causing crashes, insane physics bugs, and enemies teleporting around at random Fever/10 play it with a friend and embrace the madness

A very dark and gritty third person shooter. Wish there was a community for the multiplayer. 10/10 for people that crave that edgy shooter itch.
