Genuinely great game held back by bugs and weak combat. I believe it's "bad" shooting is on purpose though, and i will admit, it really adds to the gritty, dark and unapologetic feel the game has. Worth checking out

Dragged my friend into a near 3 hour session to beat the story, endured 6 crashes and will never be the same again. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Naked/10

you will not play a game that’s even remotely close to this. 4 hours of the most chaotic, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, ear ringing, mind numbing experience seeing two characters willing to risk their sad lives for some money. one minute you would blow a guys head off with a shotgun so bad that the camera would blur it out to next minute spraying an absolute ear ringing lmg down a choke point through the dirty disgusting and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ugly areas of shanghai with the camera shaking so much to the point where you can’t even see if you’re hitting a single target while you can barely hear your coop partner through the sheer noise of bullets, explosions and call outs. it’s beautiful. this game is a gem and i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love what they did here. play it.

I thought I was having a okay time, the shooting was bland, the npcs are all the same and the environments all looked the same. But what really pushed it over the edge was Lynch nonstop talking about mobile games. I'm not sure if my copy is bugged or unique but throughout my time Lynch would say his high score about Candy Crush and Minion Run and how much he missed his phone during the torture level. It was agonizing.

You know they don't make them like they used to. It very much has the exact tropes of the genre and that era of gaming but I do think because it is so short and its aesthetics so unique its worth checking out and playing through. I think theres some issues with the audio with my computer not sure what that is about.
