Just Sleep - Meditate, Focus, Relax

Edit: The longer I've used the program I've noticed there are odd sounds on almost every selection. Like odd rummaging around in the car, this annoying thumping sound in the jungle. It actually jangles my nerves at this point. Sorry, but the audio should be perfect for relaxation. I can't be the only one picking up the odd noises. No idea why they were left in. I'm honestly on the fence with this one. It is what it is? For two dollars USD you get 34 sound loops, each of which has a simplistic polygonal style animation loop. OK, great start. The sounds themselves are decent and when the program loops them well as in the jungle style setting they are pretty seamless and relaxing. Even the rainfall loop and animation you get when first entering the program is very soothing and some of the animations such as in the heavy rainfall are fun to watch. But as other reviewers noted, this program is all about the sound and it doesn't always loop perfectly. When it doesn't the effect is jarring, like almost being asleep to the radio when the DJ comes back on and you jolt awake. It seems sporadic and can happens with a lot of the sounds, leaving a dead space in between loops. There is also the issue with the sound mixer which can refuse to scroll for me, so I'm not even sure what all is there. It's clear there was an effort to keep users coming back. There is a sleep timer, which I didn't try, a clock, and you can add filters of sorts, like black and white or sepia. There are even meditations, but I didn't enjoy those. (In the dev's defense I don't like them in general.) It just feels like something is missing and I honestly don't know what that is. Simple music? Maybe. But it needs a bit more to set it apart from the thousands of 11 hour videos you can listen to for free. Right now it's main advantage is that it will never be interrupted by an ad for body wash or YouTube mysteriously shutting your playlist down. So there is that. Maybe if we had the ability to add our own sound loops to a basic background? I have some forlorn Yellowstone wolves just waiting to howl.

Das UI ist leider erst mal etwas unübersichtlich, aber man fuchst sich da schnell rein :) Die Optionen bieten die Möglichkeit die Lautstärke lauter und leiser, sowie ganz auszustellen. Außerdem kann man einen 30 Minuten und einen 60 Minuten Timer einstellen, wenn man die App zum Einschlafen verwenden möchte. Zusätzlich gibt es noch 8 angeleitete Meditationen in Englisch. Was mir persönlich noch fehlt, ist eine visualisierte Atemübung :)

I love this so much. I am a person that has insomnia very bad. I have a high tolerance to medication and almost nothing works other then things such a healthy sleep habits. One of these habits is sound. While I have a sound machine, the quality isn't the best. It can be run of batteries, but the batteries rarely last longer then a night. Not to mention the lack of plugs in the house to plug it in. This is so much more efficient and this has way more options. While I can see improvements that are needed, I am absolutely in love with this and I can't wait to watch it grow.

The game is relaxing.

Tolle App zum Entspannen! Mir gefällt das Sammelsurium an Sounds sehr gut. :) Ich mag sowas eh gerne hören. Gerne mehr Sounds! z.B. Katzenschnurren, Atemgeräusche ruhiger Schlaf, Unter Wasser (ohne Walgesang), Kaminfeuer usw. Gerne mehr Hintergrundszenen. z.B. Kamin, Kerze, Waldhütte, Wiese, Bank im Wald usw. Wunsch: Loop verbessern!

Must say I love this, very nice relaxing sounds along with very lovely imagery, I see myself spending many hours in dreamland and relaxing with this! I can't wait till they start adding more features too! So for $2 how could you go wrong? personally I would say its totally worth it! P.S. This also released on my birthday so thats also pretty neat lol

6/10 Good to relax with and one of the best things; it's ad free ;) Feedback; I don't care much about the images (which are simple, but nice), but from such a game I expect the sounds to be perfect. Unfortunately, the 'sticking together' of the sound samples isn't always nicely done, as a result of which you either get (in my opinion too long) silence, or a jerky transition, which I think is annoying. A voice is very personal and unfortunately only one voice can be selected in the meditations. I don't like this voice, but again this is personal so someone else can experience it as very pleasant. I'd prefer an option to choose from different voice sounds. All in all a nice game, but I would certainly continue to develop and in particular the sounds :) Also I think it's a very good initiative to release a game in this genre! I'm sure there's an audience for it <3  

This isn't good. It probably technically does everything it promises, but it's awkward to use and has a clunky UI and there are things I wanted from it that it doesn't do. Like the visuals; they can only be used with their set sounds. If you're mixing and matching your own soundscape, you don't get to use the visuals, from what I can tell. The mixing isn't bad and mostly does what I want it to. You can choose sounds and adjust the volume of each. The sounds are okay, with a good selection, but they loop really badly, with a gap in between. You can often avoid hearing this by mixing the sounds right, but this problem almost defeats the whole point on its own. When you start the program, you have to wait what feels like 15-20 seconds before you can interact with it at all. This is annoying when I'm just opening it to try to sleep. I was just looking for a cheap offline white noise customizer and it meets those needs, but the difficulty in navigation and loop hitches are major drawbacks and if it was any more expensive, it wouldn't be worth it. It definitely feels like something to be sold at this price point - you can't really expect it to work perfectly, but it's worth the gamble. Like a cheap Chinese MP3 player. It's not a good program, but it serves my purpose.

This is a great white noise machine for sleeping. It has pretty much every sound you'd want. Good quality sounds too. For the price, you can't really go wrong. Its great to just leave on in the background.
