I like card-based movement puzzlers even if they have cats on occasion, like this one. not a fan of lack of polish though, like this one, especially after multiple patches. even less so if this is your 7th published game. 65 levels unlocked one by one, no level skip, not great. level numbers on top but controls aren't rebindable, not great. arrows/wasd to turn, [b]z is undo[/b] (works after a fail state but not after reset), m is menu (esc isn't), q/e selects cards (mouse wheel doesn't), enter/space or a click confirms. these and some card info can be brought up anytime (esc doesn't close it) but [b]the game is not 100% mouseable[/b], not great. level reset is only possible from the pause menu, no hotkey or icon to click, unlike undo, not great. [b]technically the game is 100% keyboardable but it's not ideal to play like that either.[/b] the goal is always to catch the bird that sounds like a crow to me (or raven, same diff) but doesn't look like one. mechanics include arrows, jump cards, trampolines and cannons ushering you forward, tiles covering holes and portals. trampolines and tiles have to be placed manually but selecting the card doesn't mean the mouse moves the indicator, use wasd/arrows here too. and best use enter/space because clicking is all over the place, though space once randomly brought up the help screen and the menu another time. right click doesn't let go of the card, only undo, nor does the wheel rotate the cannon, not great. portals are finicky too. [b]most levels are uninspired and beyond trivial[/b], not great, but people buying cat games aren't looking for a challenge (or actual games) anyway. I don't mind the occasional easy puzzle game either, but I was so bored here I contemplated giving up multiple times, then finally did after level 47, where instead of messing with a portal and a cannon, you can just move one tile and win. come on. and not the only level where most cards were left unused. unlocked the rest by editing the save and found one more mechanic, but no difficulty curve to speak of in the entire game. simple graphics, the constantly moving sea may or may not cause nausea. repetitive music not to my taste, incredibly annoying bird sounds and jingle at the start and end of every level, both play even if audio is completely muted. sea noises are bundled with music. separate but [b]incredibly buggy volume sliders[/b], resolutions and windowed mode are the settings, only accessible from the main menu, not great. achievements didn't work for me, don't care but some might. pretty sure it's a win7 issue (the game, such as it is, works), otherwise achievement people would be up in arms. oh, and progress is stored in the registry where it shouldn't be, and of course no cloud saves, so I didn't bother testing them on win10. what can I say? it's not great.

Wise Box reallyyyyy hitted the spot on the feeling for this one! Everything is chilling: the art, the animations, the sounds. It's perfect for that chilling experience :) Definetly reccomend it.

Just a little purr suit ist ein Rätselspiel, bei dem man versucht, eine Katze schrittweise durch ein Level zu führen, um am Ende einen Vogel zu fangen. Die Grundidee ist durchaus interessant besonders, dass einem alle Bewegungen von Anfang an zur Verfügung stehen und man diese nur in der richtigen Reihenfolge einsetzen muss. Leider ist diese Idee nur unterdurchschnittlich umgesetzt. Die gesamte Präsentation ist sehr bieder. So sind die Erklärungen teilweise sehr spartanisch, und die Steuerung ist grausam. Ich brauchte viel zu lange, um überhaupt zu begreifen, dass ich (mit dem Gamepad) die Karten direkt auswählen kann. Das zeigt, dass hier einiges nicht ganz durchdacht ist. Auch grafisch und vom Sound her ist alles eher öde und uninspiriert. Der einzige Grund, warum ich das Spiel überhaupt bis zum Ende durchgespielt habe, sind die Rätsel. Die sind tatsächlich interessant gestaltet und erfordern teilweise etwas Nachdenken. Gleichzeitig ist keines der Rätsel völlig unmöglich oder übermässig schwierig. Das macht es möglich, das ganze Spiel in rund 1–2 Stunden zu absolvieren, ohne völlig zu verzweifeln. Vom Schwierigkeitsgrad her wurde hier also eine ziemlich Punktlandung getroffen. Fazit: Just a little purr suit ist definitiv kein Rätselspiel, das man gespielt haben muss. Aber es ist eines, das trotz klarer Schwächen in der Kerndisziplin – den Rätseln – genügend überzeugt, um am Ende doch noch eine vorsichtige Empfehlung zu erhalten.

パズル自体は無難に遊べて悪くないのだけれど、猫好きなゲーマーをターゲットにしているのに猫の鳴き声が無いのがかなりの欠点。クリア時に鳥のギャーっていう声がするだけだが、あの鳴き声は猫に捕まった鳥の悲惨な光景を想像してしまうので何度も聴かされたくない。
