Master your climbing tools and watch your stamina meter to successfully navigate this mysterious and changing tower. As you go higher and hone your skills, you’ll have to figure out how best to use the tools at your disposal to get to where you want to go. Explore alternative paths to find clues about what happened here.
Play at your own pace. As you climb, you’ll come across breathtaking biomes full of flora and fauna, accompanied by a peaceful and atmospheric soundtrack. Brace yourself on arid, windy slopes, seek refuge in tunnels lit only by bioluminescence, and more.
Meet the mysterious Ballast. This creature will help guide you throughout your journey by waking nature along your path and helping to reveal clues that will help you piece together the tower’s past and reach the top.

A note for Steam Deck owners: You may need to switch to an older Proton version to get the game running. It's also not particularly well optimized, draining the battery fairly quickly, so lowering some graphics settings is recommended for a smoother experience. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed my playthrough of [i]Jusant[/i]. Its minimalist presentation and clean user interface enhance the sense of exploration, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world at your own pace. The climbing controls take a little time to get used to, but the mechanics are simple and well balanced, striking a nice middle ground between relaxed traversal and more demanding climbing sequences. The toughest sections took me a few attempts, but I wouldn't consider this a particularly challenging game. Overall, it's a wonderful, short, and relaxing experience that's perfect when you want to unwind. Although you're climbing alone, the letters you discover and the places you reach gradually reveal a thoughtful and engaging story.

The climbing mechanics were surprisingly fun on controller. Some annoyances with the character not doing what you want at times, and standing still idle for 5 seconds for absolutely no reason though. The music is really pleasant, the scenery is nice and varied across the playthrough. This game surprisingly gives me the feeling of exploring an abandoned world, which was very enjoyable. Definitely worth playing once, though I don't think I'll ever go back to play it again.
Descobri esse depois que finalizei Cairn e agora consigo entender o que moldou aquele jogo incrível. Divertido, imersivo e interessante. Dá pra terminar em uma tarde e os controles são bem dinâmicos depois que você se adapta.
