Good game
好玩
Like: solid story and combat. Dislike: garbage controls make drone racing one of the worst side things they've ever done. The most missable achievements of any of the games.
Despite being a spin off from the Yakuza series do not be mistaken, Judgment(american spelling) can stand on its own as a serious and really good title. It retains some of the formula of the Yakuza games without the barrier of entry of needing to know the story from previous titles making it a viable first game of entry to the franchise. Judgment cements itself as a serious grounded crime-drama in its main story with the usual yakuza side content that is played for comedy and nonsense. Friendships and sidecases are a plenty and will keep you very busy if you delve into the side content. Some cool minigames return from Yakuza 6 and some new ones debut such as drone racing! Combat in Judgment is very good despite it not being quite there. Crane style is the main talking point for most people for a reason because it lacks the power and a distinct oomph compared to Tiger style. Its too slow and doesnt crowd control as advertised making people gravitate towards tiger. HOWEVER it is usable and can actually shine for pseudo juggling or combining its nice cc EX actions. Still, tiger is more braindead and fluid i supose(defo invest in combo speed early). Judgment story imo is one of the best RGG studio stories, it really keeps you on your toes and hungering for whats gonna happen next with slight fear too, its also nice to get such a different MC in Yagami. S tier game that deserves respect despite being a spin-off!
I like the part where I can't reject any of the love interests, date all 4 of them, and most of them being >5 year age gaps. 100/10 game, would date underage girls again.
