Things were worse than ever in Banana Republic, a somber island country. While anarchists roamed the streets, corruption was running deeper due to economic crisis and rising crime rates. Bearing these burdens were "judges" who tried to make things right with honesty...

It's pretty solid for the price. I would love for there to be more cases added and add more playtime. Also, I guess they updated the game and changed all the names? Not a problem, but doesn't help too much for game guides and achievements. Lastly, I would love a mechanic that tells you more directly whether you made the "right" decisions - "right" being defined as according to the rules in the Law Book, not whether or not they're moral.

It's a flash game that's got a decent amount of effort put into it. As a simulator it's actually much better than those Unreal Engine un-optimized slop that's now common place. Judge Sim is decent but it left me wanting more effort put into it. You simply read case files, read testimonies, prompt them for more testimony, play silly mini games for evidence, and roll dice if you game over (which I don't even really know why that's there if I can just reload a save and be fine...). It's hard to describe the game besides, it's just kinda fine...I actually wish there was more effort put into branching pathways of finding certain people guilty, actually interacting with your family outside of just buying them things to keep my character sane. There's bones here for a classic, but it's just stuck in this meh level experience that leaves you wanting more.
