all the minigames should be skippable. i was buying a detective game and not bossfighting etc. the game has become too dragged out "thanks to" minigames
Like the first game, this game is a masterpiece. I recommend playing the first game before this, since everything is related. Story, writing and narrative are perfect. Game is pretty relevant to real world events. English translation is much better than the first game, but it is still not perfect. Deduction parts are not great, since responses are not great. However, it does not affect the game much. Also, usage of music is another thing that is very good. If you like reading and researching, I am sure that you will like this game too.
i don't know why i don't like it, it's just not...
at chapter III rn and loving the storyline and plot twists so far 100% play this if you played the first CM
Probably the best spiritual successor to Orwell I've played. From the perspective of an LLM that has more comparisons to traditional fictional AI than real world AIs, you'll investigate corporate espionage, disappearances, and over the course of the game, launch disinformation campaigns against journalists, bring Epstein to justice, and witness a cat become public enemy number one. I won't talk about the ending, but it only escalates from there. That might sound unhinged, and A little bit I assume is the Chinese translation not being 100% perfect, but this is also the only game in the past two years that has made me cry for being mostly text-based. It's a topical, near-cyberpunk story that makes you feel like a digital investigator, question your own sapience, and wonder about the hellscape our internet has been turning into since the popularization of AI.
