a visual feast for the eyes
I love Mab
Judero is a game where you can feel the amount of care, passion and time put into all its aesthetics such as the music, character movement and settinf - the stop motion style feels charmingly rustic and beautiful in its roughness and I LOVE the parts in the opening and credits where you can see the props at play - it almost feels like a Laika project at times! The care and thought put into the hand made world is so genuine in the way I feel only passionate indie titles can be :) In addition to the visuals, the gameplay is simple but effective, and while it took it me a bit of time to get to grips with dashing over shockwaves, it all works, and the possession mechanic is a cool one :o While the game is a short one, its one I feel I won't be forgetting anytime soon as it had me hooked from beginning to end, and I look forward to playing more of Talha and Jack Co's games :D

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Judero achieves a great balance of oddball humour and poignant poetry to create an engaging world that serves as a fantastic love letter to Scottish folklore. Also continued to throw in surprise after surprise gameplay wise. Incredibly fun!
One of the most memorable and enjoyable games I've ever played, was so invested in it i beat it in one sitting and will def be returning to it. Cant wait to see what more they make!
Being someone who has always been surrounded by near everything Celtic having only lived either near the Scottish border or in Wales, this piece of art had me so giddy every minute I was playing. Not that there's much in the way of an overall story, I think it's more the themes and again all the references to folklore. A strong theme of loss, death and family as much Folklore/Fairy Tales are about. VISUALS: The full use of stop-motion for basically every part of the visuals is absolutely stunning to me. And having only experienced this similar use of medium within the Hylics games, I can say that I REALLY need more game developers indulging in this format, it is SUBLIME. SOUND: Oh god the music, the MUSIC!! Definitely gonna cop it on bandcamp AS. SOON. AS. POSSIBLE. I had no idea what I was getting into when starting this, to find out that there were near 90 TRACKS in this game.. is insane. The use of Folk, Acoustic guitar, Percussion, Synths, BEAUTIFUL piano and vocals, Frickin' thrash-ey guitars for some bosses??? There's so much here, (even unique songs for the many houses with weird and strangely poignant characters) SUMMARY: If you have a love for, or a want to learn about celtic folklore, AND/OR love the visual medium of Stopmotion/Claymation, then this is an excellent game for that! Excited to play Mashina and more by these people.
Judero is an incredible piece of art and a heartfelt display of the possibilities of videogame storytelling. Built around Scottish folklore, from the narrative down to minor NPCs, it delivers on a meaningful story. As well, it provides small moments of touching reflection through poetry and character dialogues on everything from family, death and life, to annoyances with one's neighbor's pets run rampant on your foliage. Every bit of storytelling was carefully considered. I respect they married a fairly well-made game to the art, though I wish it were a bit tighter in some places. I've ran into two bosses that were brick walls to my run, with incredibly damaging attacks (on Normal), overly large attack hit boxes and multiple dangerous adds. Fortunately I could advance and see more of the story by turning down the difficulty for the fight each time, but I really wish the overall difficulty of the gameplay was a more even experience. All that said, it's definitely a recommend for me. I think anyone who cares about games that are well written and provide meaningful experiences will treasure this one.
Art
This was fine. I wouldn't recommend it to friends, but people who are big on Scottish folklore, this is solid.
Lots of boobs and even a penis in this one! Exciting stuff, highly recommend.
