Pro: Nice aquarium-themed idle-clicker game. Fresh water fishes only with aquascaping possibility. I can see a lot of elements taken from the other aquarium games which make the gameplay basic, more or less the same with the other games. However there are things that is unique to this game. There is a real AFK-wallpaper mode so you don't have to click the game forever to progress. From pixel art perspective, I also like that this game stays using raw pixel art as the base graphics, not the one upscaled with upscaling algorithm. Aquascape elements are diverse and not disappointing. Oh, and there is this visual filter feature which is pretty basic but can be charming in its very own way. Con: Real world aquarist will scratch their brain when reading the translations in this game. Many species e.g black phantom tetra and platies are named incorrectly. Fish size aren't that accurate. They does not school, just swim straigth. Shop and Fish List UI are too big, which significantly slows fish property inspection on large capacity aquarium. The exclusion of various species of Anubias spp. and aquatic mosses as important core aquatic plant is the final stab for the game customization quality. Conclusion: A nice game. Not superior to other aquarium game while not bad. Definitely a choice when you need that idle game as desktop companion.

Ich brauchte ein wenig Abstand von meinen 2 Games. Vor Dekaden war mein Hobby-Aquarianer. Die ersten 40 Stunden habe ich nichts anderes gemacht. Gehöre jetzt zu den Billionären und habe keine Geldsorgen mehr. Teile meine Game-Zeit nun fast gleich mit RF4 und Torchlight 2. Joyquarium ist etwas mehr als ein Gelegenheits-Game. Nordamerika,-Südamerika,-Afrika,-Asien,-oder ein Europa- Becken-zum Beispiel mit Bitterlingen und Flußmuscheln sind möglich. Aber der Phantasie sind ja keine Grenzen gesetzt. Auf der Jagd nach farbenfrohen Beckeninsassen-Höhepunkt ist ein königlicher farbenfroher. Schade das weibliche Fische nicht vorhanden sind. Man kann aber tricksen. Beispiel: Farbenfroher Sonnenbarsch und 3 glänzende Sonnenbarsch-innen. Beim Meerwasser kann ich nicht mitreden, eine Beckeneinrichtung liegt noch in der Zukunft. Gute Tage J.G
