If you grew up on pocket frogs then you will love this game. It has the fun of "collect them all" with more interactions. The frogs are very cute and the habitats can be arranged in very interesting ways. I play this fairly casually so it is a nice wind-down game
there's games which feed off of my stupid little neurodivergent brain to breed a cow frog to the point I'm up to 4am on such a task this is that game. 10/10
Steak and Potatoes feed my body, But raising frogs feeds my soul.
First and foremost, this is not an idle game, regardless of what the tags say, I earn more in minutes being active than days offline. With the exception of offline bonuses being very, very bad, this game is far more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Ribbit Ranch is a game about breeding frogs, the game claiming to have almost 300 million different combinations, unfortunately after almost 20 hours, I'm still unsure on what exactly different breeds have more of or better at, besides being shinier and more colourful, nevertheless it does brighten the game up with multiple different breeds littering the screen. Ribbit Ranch is not just about breeding, but also "Racing" and "Pond" two minigames that are affected by the stats your frogs have, only after looking through the forums was I able to find how to increase these skills (basically, have the same two frogs do it repeatedly, then have them do it with their children once their stats become high enough. Yeah, it's pretty nasty). The achievements this game has, getting 4 of a kind or completing a race in under 10 seconds are, even with high stats for the racing, are highly luck based which is offputting, the lack of information on how to get further at the minigames is a bit disappointing. I enjoyed the game and it's nice to know it's still being updated, so hopefully most of the issues I had could potentially being fixed. Having another minigame would be pretty cool, too. Having only two, one of which is completely automatic is a bit of a letdown.
I enjoyed this game. Originally I didn't think I would. It was supposed to be almost a clone of pocket frogs I was told, but I did not get that from this game. While it has similar aspects to Pocket Frogs, it has it's own twist on the frog collection genre. My cat was the one who gave this game a chance. He loved watching the frogs hopping around and that stayed my hand at a refund. I'm glad he did because once I got over my original disappointment that it didn't fill Pocket Frog's shoes completely, I could enjoy the game for what it was. You collect frogs, race frogs, breed frogs, open packs for frog eggs, and sell frogs and repeat the cycle. It's a bit grindy to start but if you like collection games then consider this one.

"idler" tag needs removed. It's casual and cozy only. Game is fine for those tags, only have to give it thumbs down to warn it's not exactly as advertised.
fogy :)
This game reminds me so much of Pocket Frogs, which I think it was heavily based on? It's so nostalgic, it made me download Pocket Frogs on my phone again! I love this game!
