Jianghu Survivor

Survivors with actual multiplayer. But I've yet to experience the leetness of multiplayer, maybe when I'm better at the game. Anyways, its another Survivors game but with that fantasy ancient chinese settings. You know the one like Wuxia and whatnot. The good thing about this game is that synergies are fun and work quite well with each other and the game handles a lot of projectiles but making them opaque which I haven't seen in a Survivors thus far. Another thing is that each character has a sort of OP passive but they are unique and some of them can really snowball you even from the early game. But on the other hand, some of the translation is difficult to understand. The UI is atrocious. The selection menu for characters and the map are combined into one but they are resized if the flavor texts for the map has too much word. It's like a freaking microsoft word table. The letters are way too small for bigger screens and ability icons simply don't have whim or pattern to them. Fire skills are sometimes blue, while metal skills are green but wood skills are orange for some reason??? It makes remembering and recognising skills at a glance difficult. Enemies are repetitive and all of them literally rushes and you and that's it. Some of them have more HP but that's as far as it goes. Boring. It's a pretty good game. Mediocre in execution but has pretty nice theories on paper.

Очень примитивно. Звук и музыку лучше сразу отключить, графика не радует глаз, локации максимально простые. Уровнями заваливают в таком количестве, что из пятнадцатиминутного забега минут 20 уходит на прокачку… На Ultrawide интерфейс ломается, "полечил" через Special K.

Just started playing it, but it is a pretty fun bullet heaven so far. However, few simple things that need to be fixed ASAP: [olist] [*]Map is not clear at all. Need to be able to view the FULL map or at least have an indication of where the borders are. As it is, I don't know where I am in the map (center? left? right?). [*]Indicate on the map how many times you've visited a store. The price at the store increases everytime you buy something, so I need to know, at a glance, whether it costs 1 or 5 at the specific store. [*]Make libraries disappear once you've visited them. No point in keeping them on the map if you can't use them again. [/olist] Once the basics are taken care of, I always appreciate the ability to increase or decrease the opacity of skills. Feels essential in these types of games. Also, the ability to play at 2x, 3x, etc. speed.

For $6.99, it's probably one of the best purchase I've had on steam. To be honest I didn't think I would like this game as much as I did so please give it a try too if you're into survivor games and want to play it with friends. This game is a coop survivor game similar to Vampire Survivor and other in the genre, it got some fresh take and interesting synergy mechanic so in a way it's also very different to vampire survivor. The ability to tune the game difficulty up is really nice too! Anyway, it's fun.

Super fun game and even more fun when played with friends! Although it can get super hectic as the difficulties progress, the game is still playable and very much enjoyable to play! I can't wait for more update on this game! Definately worth the price.
