Jewel Match Solitaire L'Amour

In this video I take a look at Jewel Match Solitaire L'Amour, a casual solitaire game. There are a few of these solitaire games from Grey Alien Games and I will be bringing you a sample of them intermittently over the coming week. This one is Jewel Match Solitaire L'Amour and might interest the ladies with it's romance theme. They are good quality with great art work and relaxing music making them perfect to relax and unwind to, and as for content, this title has 200 main levels with 50 unlockable Mahjong games. The goal is to collect gems to unlock the bonus games, and coins to purchase perks from the store to help pass the various road blocks the game throws at you, like frozen cards or chained cards where you need to find the hammer first. Definitely get the extra card perks from the store first because the games get very hard as you advance and without them you'll have a hard time getting gems. Classic solitaire game in which you collect gems to build romantic scenes. This was my introduction to the Jewel Match Solitaire series and I really enjoyed it. For the price, you have a plethora of levels to go through, and if you like Mahjong too, you get a lot of bonus levels of it to play too. I didn't finish those but with just playing and replaying the solitaire to get all the stars, I have over ten hours in the game which is pretty great for the price (especially if you get it discounted). My main (and probably the only) issue is the graphics. While the whole pink/Valentine's day aesthetic is truly an acquired taste, I didn't really care about how pretty or ugly the game is. My issue is that everything is way too bright and if you are sensitive to bright saturated screens you can't play this for too long. It's really straining to the eye. The glint in the original set of cards is also pretty unfortunate because it's hard to read at times (but you can change that in the options and have sadly more boring design of the cards you play but at least you can clearly see the numbers). You can adjust both the front and back design of the cards, and it's possible to change separately ambient, music, and general sound volume. But overall, I liked the game itself, I enjoyed the element of putting the scenery together because it kept me wanting to play *just one more level*. Nothing groundbreaking but making the classic game a tad bit more fun.

Very good game to beat. I love that the scenes have some animations to them. I do miss other types of mini games more than mahjong, but maybe that came later in these jewel match games.

Solitaire games by this Dev/Publisher have been getting worse and worse as the series goes on. Skip this one.
