Jewel Match Solitaire L'Amour

Wonderful game with beautiful scenes to complete. This version of solitaire is the match-one-up-one-down style (eg 7s go on 8s or 6s, and you build a chain). This game has almost exactly the same features as Jewel Match Solitaire, it is a solid addition to your solitaire collection. Wonderful game, very enjoyable, would definitely recommend.

I've been playing Jewel Solitaire Winterscapes, but now that it's spring, I've switched to this game. Really more of the same, exactly as I hoped! Soothing music & sound effects, awesome mini games of Mahjong in the middle to add something different to the mix. Perfect for playing a few hands before bedtime to relax. If you enjoy playing a solitaire game to suit the awakening of the spring season, there is no better choice than L'Amour!

If you're not looking for anything revolutionary and just want a themed solitaire game where you know exactly what you're going to get, this or any of the other Jewel Match Solitaire games are always a safe bet. They've found their niche, and the games consistently deliver exactly what they say they will with no bugs or glitches or anything. Just pick your favorite aesthetic and away you go. They aren't my favorite thing ever, but they're kind of like comfort food I go back to every now and then when I'm in the right sort of mood, and they're very reliable. Also somehow they found a way to make solitaire exclusively heterosexual? So that's a thing. At least it runs perfectly on Linux through Proton, just like all their other games.

Alright, this is the third Jewel Match Solitaire game I've played, and I think if you've played any of them you know what to expect: a slick and intuitive solitaire experience. The music, cards and backgrounds were good, if a little bright. However, I must admit I prefer WInterscapes, as the bonus games there were solitaire variations, not mahjong tile matching (which isn't really my bag) (and I liked the music better in that one, too). That said, this seemed less frustrating than other iterations in the late game, or maybe I'm just getting the hang of it. Bottom line: If you like solitaire, just wait for a sale and pick up one of these - or a bundle of three. But to be honest, now three games into the series, I think this will be my last game for awhile.

Nice solitaire game with romantic backgrounds.

So you came up with an idea to milk dry the Solitaire genre, using the well-known name to attract a niche audience to the game. You have two options: (1) stick to the core but offer robust experience that performs well and is pleasant to look at, (2) add your own spin to it with new mechanics that would make the gameplay more exciting and something to look forward to. This disgusting piece of garbage has balls to try to do both. The vast majority of the reviews are just shilling bots. The graphics are subpar even for a cheap 2000 game sold on DVDs. It's not that I don't like the pink hearts (I don't like them, but that's not the point) - it's the unreadable and overused fonts, whole unaligned paragraphs of text, terribly placed menu buttons, non-harmonized shades of pink and red everywhere, and the distasteful flamboyancy in general that makes this game hard to even look at. But at least the mechanics introduced are a perfect match for the looks. The game is neither challenging nor relaxing, it's just plain frustrating. The board setups were maybe given to a mother-in-law to arrange randomly over the weekend? That would explain it. You spend half the time digging through the queue waiting for the only two numbers that work. The shop with power-ups exists, but it's overly expensive, and you can still easily fail to gather all the hearts even if you stock up with all four jokers (which cost about 4k coins, and you earn about 40-50 coins per match after you've fully upgraded the "more coins" skill). There's no strategic thinking, and there's no satisfaction of large combos. It's clicking the card queue and thinking of all the ways you could make this game better by just playing it and taking notes on why it's not engaging. But I'm an achievement thot and I'll finish it. At least it's something to fall asleep with on a Steam Deck. Not like I could continue on the PC anyway, because there isn't even a cloud save.

These solitaire games are much different than Klondike and Free Cell, and gives me something completely new from the card games that I played in the past. I have played for more than an hour so far, and the game seems really enjoyable and has nice graphics. I only purchased a couple of the Jewel Match games because they all look like they are fairly similar. I don't see the point of buying ten different games that are almost exactly the same.

It's a good relaxing game like the rest of the series.
