Been playing that game lately. Extremely addictive. 10/10 would ruin my sleep schedule again.
i love these games,, miffed about a few changes tho,, the old solitare levels being rewards for stars, and the levels you earned decorations by playing 6 different variaties
I loved the mini games. The graphics were well done and the style of the creatures and castles were beautiful. Was a fun game to play. I would give this rating at 4 stars.
Great game, as usual from Suricate. Lots of levels and the story adds to the game play. Highly recommend if you like Solitaire card games. I love and own all the Jewel Match games.
fun playing game and a role playing solitaire game it is worth buying
Easy to 100% complete, enjoyable variety of levels. I've been enjoying all the jewel match games thus far and this is a great addition to the franchise
It's not completely different from previous JMS series but ... It's different enough to provide fresh new optics and fresh new challenges to what has become a much loved series of games. There are town quests within the game to break up the long, long journeys through the wilderness on the board. There are a massive new and diverting number of Solitaire variants in the game. And there are very challenging levels of Match 2, Suit and Rank, Challenge Quests (my absolute favourites), Sliding Levels, and the ever present Supersize Levels. AND there is NO MAHJJONG! There are many trophies to be sought after during the game. And there are several new collectable in game assistant awards to be won by completing the town quests. I look forward to each release in the JMS series because I know that the games are both substantial and challenging. The visuals as ever are stunning and the music provides a relaxing accompaniment to the game levels. I highly recommend this game. I'm getting close to 40 hours in the game and I am not even halfway finished yet.
I love the Jewel Match Solitaire series. The number and variety of levels in the collectors' editions in particular are great value for the price. Every iteration adds new mechanics that keep the series fresh and interesting. In this go around, the story levels are amusing. I just wish there was a FPS mode to shoot the frog :)
Although it is unlikely that my request for a refund will be granted, I’ve requested one all the same. If it’s granted, I’ll be happy. If not, I’ll uninstall and remove this game from my library anyway. This is how much I have come to dislike the Jewel Match series with this release. The demo actually looked promising, but was kind of misleading. There’s only one new feature (the villages) that is actually not bad. The rest of the „new“ stuff is not worth it or cannot be considered an improvement, in my opinion. I had some hope for this one, but as it turns out, it is even worse than the last two or three installments of this series, and those were not particularly good compared to the early versions of Jewel Match to begin with. It is, in fact, even more boring and more annyoing. Also, how many more stupid/pointless features can you put on top of the old ones until the levels become almost unplayable? Who the hell had the brilliant idea to put these new „barriers“ in super size levels? Don’t trust the review below from Mr. I-got-the-product-for-free-therefore-I'm-praising-it-to the-skies". 95% of this game or more is exactly the same as the half dozen ones that preceded it, and most things have always been part of the Jewel Match series. It even has the same glitches than the older ones. Every time a new game is released it’s like they take the minimum effort and try to sell it as something new to justify the asking price, which is too high. However, almost all of it is identical. I don't see any improvements whatsoever. The trophies: same as always (and I do mean since the dawn of f+++ing time). The Suit levels and the Match-2 levels, and these are just two examples, are still like pulling teeth with no/not enough rewards for going through the ordeal of playing them. When the supersize levels were introduced a while ago, those were actually fun to play. They were kind of zen and you could do really long combos. In this newest installation they’re almost as bad as the other ones I mentioned above. Instead of creating something simple and pretty that is fun to play (see the old versions of this game) they have turned the series more and more into a bloated mess that stopped being fun a long time ago. They even introduced a terrible sound effect for the cards that are counting up and down with every move you make. The art style hasn’t changed in ages. The castles have been looking generic and uninspired and cringe for I don’t know how many releases now. As for the game itself, all they do every time is stack „modules“ (aka new (although not really that new)) features on top of the old releases. No innovation anywhere. The game is overpriced for what it has to offer, even at the 10% discount I got it for. Jewel Match has turned into a bloated mess of boring nothingness. Less would definitely be more for this solitaire game. It’s a good example of how quantity gets confused with quality. I stopped buying the match-3 series from this developer a long time ago, and this is the last Jewel Match solitaire I spent money on. I’m done with their games. If I were you I would look for one of the early Jewel Match games, and maybe also the one where the supersize levels were introduced. They were still worth your money and time. You won’t need anything inbetween or after as it’s all the same repetitive slop.
