Jerry Rice & Nitus' Dog Football
A Disappointing Dog Game Rating: ★★☆☆☆ Review: Jerry Rise and Nitus Dog Football Game had the potential to be a charming and enjoyable experience, but unfortunately, it falls short in several key areas. While the idea of playing football with dogs sounds amusing, the execution leaves much to be desired. The gameplay mechanics are clunky and lack polish. Controlling the dogs feels imprecise, making it difficult to execute moves accurately. This results in a frustrating and often unpredictable experience on the field. The lack of fluidity and responsiveness takes away from the potential fun and excitement of the game. Visually, the game is underwhelming. The graphics are outdated, and the overall presentation lacks polish. The environments and character models lack detail and fail to capture the vibrancy and charm that could have made this game visually appealing. The audio design is lackluster as well. The sound effects and soundtrack are forgettable, offering little to enhance the gameplay experience or immerse players in the dog football world. One of the biggest disappointments is the lack of depth and variety in gameplay. The game quickly becomes repetitive, with limited game modes and limited strategic options. This results in a lack of replay value and ultimately leads to boredom setting in sooner than expected. While Jerry Rise and Nitus Dog Football Game may have had potential, it fails to deliver a satisfying experience. The clunky mechanics, uninspired visuals, and lack of depth make it difficult to recommend this game to anyone seeking an enjoyable dog-themed sports game.
This game is so bad it's funny. The only reason I have so many hours is because I enjoy trying to do silly and goofy things, like winning 2-0 or winning by over a hundred. Once you figure out the opponent's AI, defense becomes mostly trivial, and they will rarely score on you. Meanwhile, offense is incredibly easy, as pass plays are completely overpowered and will always net you a substantial yardage gain against the computer opponents. And I can't forget to mention the worst thing about this game, which is that it's a direct port from the Wii (where I originally played it), so the entire game is controlled almost exclusively with the motion of the mouse. Judo Baby should have left this game on the Wii, or put actual effort into the port, but they did neither, leaving us with this masterpiece of stupidity.
Title: A Monumental Missed Opportunity: Jerry Rice And Nitus' Dog Football Deserves Negative Yardage Rating: 0/10 Prepare yourself for a review that not only highlights the myriad failures of "Jerry Rice And Nitus' Dog Football" but also hammers home the absolute travesty that is the exclusion of O.J. Simpson and Michael Vick as playable characters. I can hardly contain my frustration as I delve into this abysmal game that had the chance to make a profound statement about redemption, yet squandered it with such audacious negligence. From the moment I laid eyes on the visuals, my incredulity grew with each passing second. The developers dared to present us with a game that looks like it was designed by a first-year art student with limited skills. The characters are more reminiscent of crude caricatures than anything that belongs in a modern gaming environment. And the stadiums? Don't even get me started. These backdrops appear to have been hastily thrown together with little thought or care, contributing to the overall sense of visual repulsion. The gameplay, if you can even call it that, is an exercise in frustration. I had hoped for a unique blend of football and dog-based mechanics, but instead, I was subjected to a disjointed mess that left me longing for a competent sports title. The controls are as intuitive as a broken compass, and the AI's erratic behavior only added to my mounting sense of aggravation. But what stings the most is the glaring absence of O.J. Simpson and Michael Vick as playable characters. It's as if the creators of this abomination live under a rock, completely oblivious to the fact that these two individuals have not only proclaimed their innocence but have genuinely atoned for their mistakes. The opportunity to portray their redemption arcs within the confines of a video game was tantalizingly within reach, yet the developers chose to ignore it in favor of half-baked canine characters with no substance or history. I am seething with rage as I contemplate the colossal blunder that is this game. The emotional resonance promised in other reviews is an outright fabrication, with the narrative barely managing to scrape the surface of anything meaningful. The interactions between Jerry Rice and his canine companions are as shallow as a puddle after a light drizzle, leaving me to wonder if the developers even cared about crafting a coherent and engaging experience. The soundtrack, if one can even call it that, is a forgettable mishmash of tunes that do nothing to salvage the wreckage of this disaster. It's clear that the developers were content with delivering a subpar product devoid of the polish and attention to detail that modern gamers rightfully expect. In conclusion, "Jerry Rice And Nitus' Dog Football" is not only a shameful display of ineptitude but also a gross miscarriage of potential. The omission of O.J. Simpson and Michael Vick as playable characters is an affront to anyone who recognizes their innocence and redemption. So irate am I that I'm tempted to call my uncle at Ubisoft and plead with him to remind the gaming world what a true redemption story can look like. With an emphatically deserved score of 0/10, this game deserves to be buried deep within the annals of gaming history, never to see the light of day again.

I have never experienced something quite like this game. Within 3 minutes of playing I was completely immersed in the stunning forced 480p resolution and the graphics... don't get me started on the visuals; they're top tier. If you feel like your life is going nowhere... PLAY THIS GAME. It will fix it.

you'll love it if you're an athlete like myself.
NFL Street 2 NBA Street 2 Madden '03 Backyard Baseball And then there's Jerry Rice & Nitus' Dog Football. Let's be honest, you're here because of Dunkey. You were surprised this was even on Steam. You were surprised by the price and wanted to buy it for the meme and maybe just maybe play the game on a drunken bored day while you redownload Red Dead Redemption 2 in the background, only to undownload it because you forgot how long the intro of RDR 2 is before you can get to the interesting bits. Jerry Rice & Nitus' Dog Football was actually a surprise to me. The level of detail of each dog and how their stats effect the game keeps it interesting. The game works like a normal football game however there's a twist of throwing in dog obstacles the dogs can risk themselves on to either run the ball further down the field or for the defense to get to the offensive runner faster. That risk/reward keeps the game fun, interesting and refreshing in ways reminiscent to NFL Street. They even do unique celebrations according to breed while the defensive dogs and human quarterbacks have their own unique crying sessions. Each map has their own unique obstacle courses you can master with various gift boxes you have to get to unlock customizations you can apply to your dogs (a practice so novel in today's games as you must pay instead.) Adding to the risk/reward obstacles, you get "arf points". When I first saw this, I was crying laughing. I almost shut off the game. Now that I'm 3.5 hours into the game... "Arf points" keeps the game engaging. While you struggle to drive your team down the field, the more stunts you pulls off the obstacles, the more "arf points" you get. (for a example, on the skate park field, you can literally get your dog to ride a skateboard to get closer to the touchdown or get closer to runner trying to score) After you score a touchdown, you get a option of field goal to get the half the arf points you accumulated, OR go for the touchdown and get the full points. TRYING TO GET THESE ARF POINTS MAKES MY PALMS SWEAT. TRYING TO STOP MY OPPS FROM SCORING THEM MAKES MY PALMS SWEAT. It's chaotic. It feels unbalanced but if you realize the struggle that team went through to get those Arf Points, its actually very fair. Because tbh, the controls suck. But honestly to me it just simulates what a dog would actually do. Sometimes a dog just stops and looks at a tree questioning its existence in this game that nobody plays, forever forgotten as the sea of the internet ever expands like the galaxy itself. Sometimes a dog tackles another dog on their own team. Sometimes, a dog just trips and rolls accidentally tackling the human quarterback. Its honestly how dog football would work in reality...well as close as it can be. And graphics, that's really what its all about and uh...Judo Baby really put DETAIL in the levels. Its so fun spotting things, the depth of design on the fields. Each human has their own unique dialogue and personalities with their dogs to match them. Its cheesy fun. I swear I'm begging for a sequel I'll never get because theres so much more they could've done with the game. They could definitely improve the controls. They can definitely improve on the systems such as the dog treats you can give your dog to boost their stats before a play. They could go even deeper with the customization. But this game has very good doggy bones. Judo Baby, you have a great vision and I really wish you got a second bark at this. Its honestly a game I find myself just turning on after a long day of work and I really don't wanna sit through 2 hours of dialogue of games like Yakuza, Persona, Baldur's Gate, just to get to the fun. Jerry Rice & Nitus' Dog Football immediately puts you in the action. Its childish. There's stereotypes. They got eskimo girl, LOL girl, Scottish pub, black dreadlock kid from the little rascals. Paris Hilton. Everyone is in it. They all get their own theme music. Idk man... I just really enjoyed this game beyond its meme status. There was clearly thought put into the game. Thanks Judo Baby. Thanks Jerry Rice. Please put Michael Vick in the game. He's a Primm's Hood Cinema Allstar. Put him in the game. Please. Maybe I'm neurodivergent, but I give this game a strong Arf Points outta Dog bowl. If you played this game, did you love it? Did you hate it? What would you rate it? You're the best. What should I review next? Hit the like if you like. Please subscribe to Jontron. Hit the youtube bell as well. Anyways, Macgunnny, Jerry Rice & Nitus' Dog Football, Forever.
I give it a 7.5/10 Gameplay gets an 8/10 The gameplay is nuts compared to like Madden. I’m picking plays like I would in Madden but I have to think about the size of my dog and where to run because you can get a huge score by running through logs, riding skateboards and such, which are mostly on the sides of the field and give your dog a speed boost when used. To maximize points you want to use different game balls and different powerups so lots going on vs like Madden. I even found holding the right mouse button down to walk super useful on defense so I could hang back and then intercept or quickly take out a receiver. Maneuvering the QB in the pocket and then going for the QB sneak also turned out to be a pretty solid tactic. Basically Madden gets pretty stale for me in the gameplay department and Dog Football makes football worth playing with lots of tactical options and resource management to think about since game balls get destroyed and treats and balls need to be purchased and are necessary for playing well. Graphics get a 7/10 Cartoony with a sense of realism meaning that even though the dogs look cartoony they mostly behave the way dogs would in real life. They do touchdown dances and such which are probably not always realistic but hey I’ve seen Merengue Dog so who knows. I personally like a cartoony feel so the graphics work for me and are cohesive between environments, characters, and UI. I’d still like to see a more realistic and updated look like for any future version. Sound gets a 7/10 I like how the music is made to fit the personalities of each character. Sound effects just fit the environments so that’s fine and the dogs sound like dogs so good enough. This just doesn’t seem like the type of game where anything spectacular in the sound department is needed so seems like what is there is fitting. Replay Value gets an 8/10 After playing a full season I was able to get everything for my team including all dog breeds and a new character and field to play. It took a while and near the end of the season the AI was bringing it so I lost a few games. I had fun trying to maximize bonus points on fields, want to beat the game with the other characters, and want to get all the gift boxes to get all the unlocks, so this has lasting appeal for me. I hope they add multiplayer because that will keep me playing longer.
