Poorly optimised for the Steam Deck, even if there's a massive green checkmark saying "Verified". 22 fps on low graphics and 720p is crazy behaviour.

The game is really fun if you enjoy 'driving' type games. You just skate down a mountain with each map having objectives for speed, points, or small tasks like close calls. Personally, I wouldn't want to pay more than $10 for it. The music is surprisingly good and makes a vibe as you skate through the tracks. Unlocking little cosmetics is mildly fun. Honestly, the main attraction is just skating down the tracks while chilled out listening to music.

Was looking to an alternative to Forza Horizon 6. 10/10, just as much customization and the sloth makes way less noise.

The concept is cute, the game is chill, and the gameplay is fun. Also, it works well with proton. Definitely recommend.

[h1] ДРИФТ НА ТВОЕЙ БЫВШЕЙ [/h1] Driftwood — это короткая аркадная гонка с видом сверху, где ты катаешься на лонгборде за ленивца Тедди. Визуал приятный: стилистика будто нарисована восковыми мелками плюс лёгкий сел-шейдинг — выглядит уютно и не перегружает глаза. Всего в игре 16 уровней, разбитых по сезонам: пустынная, летняя, осенняя локации и смешанная «все сезоны сразу». По сути, отличаются они только окружением — физика и задачи почти одинаковые. Геймплей простой и расслабленный: нужно как можно быстрее проехать трассу, попутно собирая коллекционные предметы, набирая очки, выполняя скоростные условия и зарабатывая золотые колёса (аналог звёзд часто от 3 до 5). Задачи на уровне несколько, и разом все их не закрыть — приходится перепроходить. Очки дают за дрифт и прыжки. Есть кастомизация: можно менять одежду ленивца, раскраску лонгборда, а ещё выбирать разные доски и колёса. Причём тут, это не просто косметика: тип лонгборда влияет на отзывчивость, а колёса — на силу дрифта. Так что под разные задачи (например, «быстро» или «много дрифта») реально стоит подбирать подходящую сборку. Поддерживается одиночный и многопользовательский режимы, а играть предлагают с контроллером — но на клавиатуре и мыши всё вполне адекватно управляется, без нареканий. Но все же есть неприятные тех. проблемы. Во-первых, в главном меню и на заставках картинка сильно проседает по качеству — и это на Unity, где такого вроде бы быть не должно. Во-вторых, у меня лично случился баг при перемещении по хабу на фургоне: после выхода с уровня (не через финиш) пропали кнопки управления, фургон перестал слушаться, а прогресс на уровнях по золотым колёсам перестал отображаться. Переустановка и проверка файлов не помогли — проблема ушла только после перезагрузки ПК - и то все как то рассосалось само собой. Ещё есть ощущение, что снежный сегмент не доделан: в последней локации НА САМОМ последнем уровне появляется сноуборд, но его никак нельзя настроить, и этот кусок будто оставили «как есть» без финальной полировки. Проходится Driftwood примерно за три часа, гринда почти нет, челлендж ощущается как сбалансированный. Если хочется чего-то ненапряжного, чтобы просто покататься и собрать коллекционки, — игра вполне подойдёт. Но контента объективно маловато, так что лучше брать по скидке. [h3] P. S. 2x. 14 Euros on sale is still a bit much for this. Wait for a better sale, if this interests you. The game's mostly focused on speed and drifting and tight control. It's one of those "easy to pick up hard to master" types of games. It's fairly nice. Looks alright, the music is decent, it has a nice atmosphere, and it's generally a fun little game with some funny elements to it. Very lighthearted skateboarding (or longboarding?) fun. I'll just say that if you're not good at this, it can get a little bit frustrating. Personally, If I'd have known the full contents of this game, I would've paid €7,99 instead of €13,99. But I still like it, regardless. Keep in mind that you'll definitely want to use a controller for this. So, if you don't have one yet, you might want to give this one a pass for the time being. As for the actual game, You longboard down mountains and by hitting certain goals like score through drifting and tricks without crashing. Or time limits and so on. (The game calls these tricks, but you don't actually do any real tricks, it's just racing, drifting and the environment.) Controls are tight, and quite solid. You gain new customisation to your sloth, like headwear, trousers, t-shirt, board design, wheel colour, etc. By hitting these goals. At the same time, you also get different useful gear from completing the goals, in the form of new wheels and different boards. The only 2 that actually matter for gameplay, from what I've seen. The info on what these do is limited to "grip" for wheels, and "steering" for boards. So, that's not great. But from what I've noticed, it doesn't matter that much anyway. It's more about skill. I should add that it runs excellently on my system. All in all, fun little game. Maybe more fun with friends. I'd wait till it's cheaper unless you, like me, couldn't resist the image of a skateboarding sloth.

10/10 cozy drifting game. Great with friends aswell as solo :>

Gioco Super Rilassante, non troppo difficile e con il giusto livello di sfida se si vuole fare dei tempi buoni, la colonna sonora ti sorprenderà!!!
