Beautiful plot full of mystery, and the playability is excellent, you will have a first person view, to move click on the arrows clearly visible if you touch the compass at the bottom left, there are many dynamic and usable objects, attention because some can be assembled between them, they are not reported, it is up to you to understand it according to logic (example: gun and bullets), just take them and stack them in the inventory. One thing I liked: the scenes where to find hidden objects are not fixed but range, you have to move the view up, down or left and right to complete the search. Обеспокоенная судьбой своей родственницы, Нэнси устраивает самую настоящую поисковую операцию, в ходе которой становится понятно, что Джейн влипла в такую историю, каких с ней ранее никогда еще не случалось. Если кто-то не играл в первую часть и размышляет о том, стоит ли браться за продолжение, не зная ничего об оригинале - спешу успокоить: вторая часть никак не связана с первой, и единственное, что объединяет обе игры - наличие одного и того же героя в лице самой Джейн. Во второй части произошла полноценная перезагрузка. Во всех смыслах слова. Начнем с того, что игра полностью сменила как команду разработчиков, так и издающую студию - за дело взялись совершенно новые лица, что, собственно, и побудило меня дать игре второй шанс. Сиквел Jane Angel, словно зная о моей слабости к пиратской тематике, с порога ударил в слабое место - вместе с сестрой главной героини мы оказываемся на борту неизвестного парусного судна, понятия не имея, как мы здесь очутились и что с этим делать дальше. Ясно одно - Джейн где-то рядом, и она попала в беду, так что делать нечего - сеструху придется выручать. Набор задач в Jane Angel 2 на удивление одновременно остался неизменным, но качественно преобразился - сцены поиска больше не пестрят откровенно-вычурными силуэтами и картинками, без труда угадывающимися на фоновых полотнах, а фирменные задачи в стиле "найди лишнее на картине" также поднялись на одну ступеньку качества вверх. Появилась связная сюжетная линия, тянущаяся одной цепочкой, чего также не хватало в оригинале. Да, сама по-себе история все так же разит местами наркоманским бредом, но здесь хотя бы виднеется проблеск старания, и уже за это хочется разработчиков как-то поощрить. Графически игра также старается придерживаться заявленного с первой части стиля рисовки, однако детализация в этот раз куда более искусная. Если в первой части мы просто перепрыгивали от одной головоломки к другой, то в продолжении нас ждут полноценные локации, по которым придется ходить и обшаривать каждый угол в поисках решения той или иной проблемы. И в данном случае я считаю, это шаг вперед. Звуковое сопровождение не особо запоминающееся, однако вполне поддерживает заявленную атмосферу. Русского языка и достижений Steam на данный момент у игры, к сожалению, не заявлено. По итогу хочется отметить, что на контрасте с первой частью, которую в свое время лепили на коленке из чего попало, сиквелл Джейн Эйнджел выглядит явно выигрышно и хорошо заметно, какой прогресс и работу над ошибками проделали новые мастера, взявшись за продолжение чужой работы. Однако, по меркам своих более известных собратьев, игра выглядит весьма средненько, ребусы достаточно однообразны, а сюжет местами весьма укурен и затянут, так что однозначной рекомендации к покупке дать не могу. Jane Angel 2: Fallen Heaven is, well, it's a hidden object puzzle game that looks like it's either from the 1990's or from a mobile app store... and yet weirdly here it is on Steam amongst actual real PC games. Why? Because Valve will let anything in here so long as they pay their $100. It's from HH-Games who make a living of running cash grabs by dumping free mobile apps on Steam as paid products. Yeah, not cool. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game only displays in 4:3 pillarboxed aspect ratio. It's possible they developed this using an old CRT they found in a dumpster, or this game has been specifically designed for people gaming on PC's from 1995... either way, this isn't really acceptable in the modern era of PC gaming. Sure, they added "curtains" to the pillars... but it still looks like trash from the 1990's. Let me tell you, it's the twenties now. We have our own trash. We don't need trash from other decades messing up the place. This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes this is a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. That's right, only 4. This is a pitiful enough number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is remarkable, but also to be expected. This complete and utter rejection of the game from gamers should be a keen information point for anyone considering buying shovelware like this. Gamers just didn't take this seriously, and for good reason. Jane Angel 2: Fallen Heaven has the comically over-optimistic price of around $7 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam.

I almost missed this gem of a game. I enjoyed this game and played for 6 hours taking my time. The Story... Jane Angel contacted her sister Nancy begging for help but when Nancy arrives at Jane's house she is met by a stranger in a mask. The stranger throws a book at her and suddenly they are both on a ship in the 1500th cebtury. I think, after the player past freeing hisself from the ship they will see the adventure really takes off. Voice overs and characters you meet in the game are good. There were no glitches I encountered. The HO scenes are clear not to dark and fun to play. The graphics were very good along of various locations and I found the story to be interesting. So two thumbs up, for this adventure.

This is in many ways superior to the first [I]Jane Angel[/I] game: it's a real point-and-click adventure this time, with a lot of interesting locations and puzzles. But, OMG. The writing. The voice acting. It seems that no lessons were learned from the first [I]Jane Angel[/I] game. The English translation is so bad it verges on the ridiculous. But even if it were competent, the story itself is like a B-movie written by drunken toddlers who got bored in the middle and took a nap break. THE END. Gameplay is fine. The rest is ... so bad that it's good? Kinda. If you play this genre of games you already have low standards for storytelling. But this one takes the cake. It's also very short.

After creating a profile, you’ll be asked to choose in which of the two levels of difficulty you’d like to play the game: Regular or Expert. The difference between these two levels of difficulty is based on how fast it takes for the hint button to regenerate each time you activate it. If you are familiar with this genre of game, I would recommend playing on the higher difficulty level. On the other hand, if this is your first attempt at HOG, the regular difficulty will suit you just fine. As you play Nancy, the protagonist, you’ll be visiting 6 different areas, including the English Galleon (which you’ll visit twice), your apartment as well as your sister’s, the FBI office, hospital and a cave. Despite the game being pretty short, I was pleasantly surprised with how many rooms each of the areas has to be visited. What I also really like is that most of the hidden objects scenes were laid out with 2 to 3 images instead of only one. Essentially, Nancy will have to fulfil tasks in order to progress in the game, and she will need to pick up specific items laying around in each area and then use them to resolve simple puzzles. So, make sure to search thoroughly every single room. I enjoyed the story from start to finish, as it provides a bit of a twist here and there. I also like the fact that you get to make the final choice, out of two, at the end of the game. This might prompt you to do a second playthrough. However, you’ll get through it pretty quickly, whether on the regular or expert difficulty, and that’s the extent of the replayability. The graphics are good, and the story is interesting too. The game ran well initially on my 4k Samsung monitor, but I encountered an issue with the latest Nvidia driver (version 471.41) which was released on 19/07/2021. I could not run the game higher than 1920 X 1080 on my widescreen with the new driver, but it seems to work fine with the previous one. It is a pretty good HOG even if it is a bit short (you’ll finish your first playthrough within 3 hours maximum). Definitely worth having in your library if you enjoy the genre. I am not big into hidden object games but i wanted to give this one a try as i am trying to widen my palette of games.
