similar to the first game. really fun but overpriced. not really any collectibles or challenge achievements this time around but still fun. this game introduces a dash and cleans up the wall jumps (although now there is a lowframe=fulljump bug, not sure if that was in the original). there's a few new stage elements but pretty much just more izbot. recommended (on sale).
This is certainly an improvement over the first game I gotta say. From the double jump and air dash mechanics being more responsive to having enough space to traverse levels in different ways. This was a much appreciated fix to a concern I had and it was also accompanied by the lack of unnecessary collectibles and cringy dialogue. Just cutscenes and the game presenting itself to the player in all its more neatly pixel art drawn glory. In terms of the difficulty, I'm not keen on saying this was easier due to me becoming better at the genre, the levels being more fair, the previously mentioned enhanced controls or a mix of the above. Certainly, those struggling with the precision platforming kind of games might still find this hard, but for the rest a few hours should suffice. I'd say, this as an overall experience has earned its price tag... mostly since the ending felt a bit abrupt and would do with a bit more tweaking.
Un juego super bueno y mejor cuando te dan ganas de hacer un speed run jugabilidad :10/10 arte :10/10 lo único negativo que le veo es que aveces se bugean algunos bloques pero del resto muy bueno.
Super Meat Boy for those that really, really hate themselves.
难度比一代简单些,流程较短
内容丰富度比一代大,操作难度也稍微大一些,但没有一代第三章那种超长关卡,体验也更舒适。不过游戏时间相应地变短了。 总体上内容丰富度依然不大,建议等打折。
Decent fast-paced precision platformer. My only complaints are the hit boxes that seem a bit too large in certain places, and furthermore that in some instances you have to find the way through the level by trial and error as you can't see very far ahead. I recommend getting it when it is on sale.
The second one
not the worst, but not really good
Quick Description: -Izbot 2 is a well rounded and fun precision platformer that offers just enough challenge to keep fans of this genre entertained. It's not the most innovative speedrunner on the market, but it's a noticeable upgrade from the original Izbot. It's a bit light on content, but I think it's worth recommending at 50% off or better. Consensus: -Middle of the Road Game (Tier 4 and makes up 25% of my reviews). The precision platfomer genre is packed w/ top notch games. Izbot 2 is not going to compete w/ the best, but it is a well designed, fluid, and fun speedrunner that fans of the genre are sure to enjoy.
