It Stares Back

Phenomenal visuals and art, aesthetically this game is gorgeous

The story and storytelling is incredibly engaging and amazing, the artwork is truly fantastic and the atmosphere created some of the best and most haunting of any game i've played. Kudos to the developer and team. If you're a fan of macabre tech-dystopianism, weirdness, nailbiting gameplay and amazing visuals and audio- this game is for you!

What the ♥♥♥♥

Unfortunately the last update was in 21, so as of right now its safe to assume this game isn't being actively worked on. The aesthetics of this thing are banging, so i do recommend you look up the soundtrack video, but the game itself just kinda stops some ways in.

So far, Pretty simple for an RTS, but really fun, and a very intriguing story. The RPG elements aren't very fleshed out yet, but the whole thing is overflowing with potential. Has support for custom maps, and missions. Though it's pretty involved, and you have to do it outside of the game currently. Still an awesome feature to have in any RTS game. While it will be worth playing regardless, I personally hope they add multiplayer, because playing with friends is the thing that really keeps me coming back to RTS type games after I finish the campaign a few times through. Can't wait for the full release.

Просто отлично, Необычная ретро-стратегия, чем-то похожа на Warlords, чем-то на Периметр, чем-то на Вангеров(атмосферой), чем-то на StarCraft, а где-то и на Fallout(опять же атмосферой). Отличная музыка, отличная озвучка, отличные диалоги. Харизматичные NPC. Обучение игре проходит быстро. Моего английского на уровне Intermediate хватает более чем. Очень хочется, чтобы полная игра скорее вышла. Любители настоящих игр, давайте поддержим разработчиков рублем.

A horrifically fantastic entry into the Tapestry series of games from Light Arc Studios. As a sequel to their previous game, Castle Battles, It Stares Back, is a strategy game like few others in its apocalyptic mecha-punk art style. mixing both driving meta-narrative and clamorous mystery, supported by its impeccable voice acting. I personally cannot wait to see what the future holds for the fate of the Tapestry and Light Arc Studios as they expand and flesh out what i hope to be a fresh (albeit perhaps a bit desiccated) take on the "Zerg Rush" style strategy sub-genre.
