Developed by String studio and published by Anotherindie, It's time, Your Majesty offers an inventive blend of deckbuilding, roguelite progression, and kingdom management that turns the responsibilities of ruling into a compelling strategic challenge. Instead of commanding armies through traditional real-time battles or managing an enormous empire with countless menus, the game distills the experience into a card-driven system where every decision shapes the future of the kingdom. Each run places players in control of a royal dynasty striving to survive through uncertain times, making every choice an important step toward either prosperity or collapse. Its approachable mechanics make it easy to understand, while the layers of strategic depth gradually emerge as players become more familiar with the interactions between cards, resources, and policies. The heart of the gameplay revolves around constructing a personalized deck capable of responding to the kingdom's constantly changing needs. Every new card introduces opportunities to strengthen the economy, improve military readiness, or establish more efficient methods of governing the realm. Discovering combinations that complement one another becomes increasingly rewarding, as carefully planned strategies can transform an average kingdom into a flourishing empire. The roguelite structure encourages experimentation because each campaign unfolds differently, allowing players to explore fresh approaches rather than relying on a single successful formula. This constant sense of progression makes repeated playthroughs feel worthwhile, especially for those who enjoy refining strategies through trial and error. What keeps the experience engaging is the steady stream of unpredictable events that challenge even the most carefully designed plans. Prosperity alone is never enough to guarantee survival, as invasions, disasters, political instability, and other unexpected crises force players to adapt their priorities on the fly. The game succeeds at creating meaningful tension by ensuring that every resource has value and every decision carries potential consequences. Choosing when to invest in economic development, military expansion, or defensive preparations requires careful consideration, since neglecting one aspect of the kingdom often creates vulnerabilities elsewhere. This balance between long-term planning and immediate problem-solving gives the game a satisfying strategic rhythm that remains engaging throughout each campaign. Another appealing feature is the policy system, which allows players to guide the overall direction of their kingdom. Rather than functioning as simple upgrades, these policies influence how future strategies develop and encourage specialized playstyles. Some rulers may focus on creating a wealthy commercial empire, while others prioritize military dominance or balanced national growth. Because these policies interact with the deckbuilding mechanics, every successful combination feels earned through thoughtful planning rather than luck alone. The wide variety of available options also contributes to the game's replay value, motivating players to return and discover alternative strategies that produce entirely different outcomes. Visually, It's time, Your Majesty embraces an attractive pixel art presentation that complements its medieval fantasy setting without overwhelming the gameplay. Character sprites, buildings, and interface elements are colorful and expressive, giving the kingdom personality while keeping information easy to read. The user interface is clean and efficient, allowing players to focus on strategic decisions instead of navigating overly complicated menus. Combined with smooth pacing and quick gameplay sessions, the presentation supports the game's accessible design philosophy while maintaining enough charm to keep the experience visually enjoyable across multiple playthroughs. Although the game offers an impressive blend of mechanics, players expecting an expansive grand strategy simulation should keep their expectations in check. The emphasis remains firmly on card interactions, resource management, and adapting to randomized challenges rather than large-scale diplomacy or complex military campaigns. Fortunately, this focused design works in the game's favor, delivering a polished experience that rewards planning, experimentation, and flexibility without becoming unnecessarily complicated. The randomness introduced by the roguelite structure occasionally produces difficult situations, but overcoming those setbacks often becomes one of the most satisfying parts of the experience. Overall, It's time, Your Majesty successfully combines several popular strategy genres into a cohesive and enjoyable package that feels both accessible and rewarding. String studio has created a game that consistently encourages smart decision-making while Anotherindie delivers a polished release with plenty of replayability. Its combination of deckbuilding, kingdom management, and unpredictable events creates a satisfying gameplay loop that remains engaging well beyond the first campaign. Players who appreciate strategic experimentation and thoughtful resource management will likely find plenty to enjoy in this distinctive royal adventure. Rating: 7/10
