Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
It Consumes is a hectic first-person arena shooter, but with an additional twist: to see you must use your pulse to temporarily reveal your surroundings. Every moment is a fight to survive as you climb your way to the top of the leaderboards.
The game is designed so there is no single correct way to play, and different players will discover different strategies. The core set of mechanics (shooting, dashing, casting spells, and pulsing) are tuned to feel great from the start, but their true potential is unlocked as you customize your build with various perks and modifiers. The game rewards your understanding of its mechanics and is always letting you find new ways to exploit them.
Multiple ways to play. Can be played as a roguelite with randomized upgrades during your run, or as a classic arena shooter where your FPS skills are all that matter.
Customize your build. Equip your preferred weapons and abilities, and unlock dozens of perks. Mix and match them to create your perfect playstyle.
Unique difficulty system. Higher difficulties are more than just simple stat increases. Unlock modifiers that actually change the game and force you to think and play differently.
Leaderboards. Each game mode has its own leaderboard where you can compare your score with your friends, or fight for the global top rank.
Custom games. Break the game entirely by designing your own custom game mode. Adjust almost any value (damage, movement speed, etc.), toggle on or off any combination of player upgrades, and design your own enemy waves. You can even make your own custom modifiers that trigger actions when specific conditions are met.

Super cool concept. Love the way the darkness / pulse mechanics work, and it has a cool leveling / upgrade system with really polished gameplay. Can't believe it only costs $10!

Super fun and hectic. The build customization is easily the best part, and it’s really fun experimenting with different loadouts, perks, and upgrades. The darkness mechanic is a great twist that makes every run feel tense and exciting. Overall it’s a fast, creative arena shooter with a lot of replay value.
Reminds me of Devil Daggers but cooler with more stuff happening
this is an amazing game, with enough content, gameplay and variety to keep you captivated, and fun or further challenging little extras if you do side content, it's pretty straightforward and once you get a grasp of shooting and keeping your pulse continuously (or just shoot if you're a badass bat) it won't be too focus taxing, a really easy game to get into with a shorter start to end, but plentyyy abilities, challenges, perks and challenges to choose from to give you a varying experience each run, the introduction to the jammer enemy really stressed me out, in such a good way, the sound is really useful and quite necessary, one of the cooler games out there for sure, definitely give it a shot if you're interested.
Awesome atmosphere and a fun challenge!
A really fun and unique experience, It Comsumes blends a variety of gameplay elements that revolve around not always being able to see enemies! The design encourages players to find a system that works for them with a diverse array of powerups and equipment. Varied enemies are sprinkled throughout to keep the challenge fun.
I won't say it's objectively well designed, but i will say i'm personally having fun with it, mostly due to the sandbox mode. At first, the multitasking feels intimidating, and the visibility is terrible. But once it clicks, you can get in a flow state that is pretty enjoyable. I hope this gets a couple updates though because it's not feeling very polished right now. I'm finding a handful of flaws here and there, and they do stick out quite a bit. I feel like there are some things that aren't working as intended, like enemy spawns for example. If you leave around 3 waves of basic skulls alive, they will stop spawning in, even if they are set to spawn. Some enemies don't seem to be spawning at all in sandbox. I would recommend this if you're the type to enjoy sandbox, theory crafting, designing your own game modes, that sort of stuff. There is an impressive amount of depth to be discovered. There's enough tools and modifiers to always be able to find or design a fun game mode for yourself. You can play with a specific combination of perks you enjoy. You can also just create your own perks. You can create your own curses and handicaps to challenge yourself. I mean, there has to be some interactions that break the game. And yes, bugs abound. But you can tinker around most of those unwanted interactions the same way you discovered them. If tinkering with an arena shooter's actual in game numbers and mechanics sounds interesting to you, then i think there's replayability here and fun to be had.
"I like Devil Daggers, but what if vision was a resource?" sums this up exceptionally well. It's more arcade-y in nature, but that's a deliberate choice by the dev, and it helps make this game truly stand on its own. That combined with excellent sound design and most importantly of all incredible feeling moving and combat? I can easily recommend this. If you're not sure, the demo gives you an excellent idea of what the full game entails.
