I loved the aesthetic, got a mix of Star Wars and Dune. The last message after finishing the game was really cool not knowing what was being carried.
The first 15 minutes of my playtime is me reaching almost the end of the game, then dying after going into water starting all over again. The next 15 is holding W and collecting some items around. The last 15 is literally idleing the game to wait for the specimen to grow so I can finish the game. I loved The Chameleon but this one ain't it chief.
The КИНО
Eerie aesthetic, cold ending.
I have to say I'm a touch disappointed that there wasn't more to this, but overall I enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is really excellent and I like it's modest story and world. There isn't too much to do but sit back and relax, really. I'm a fan of these very short and sweet titles.
Very short but beautiful. Basically free when on sale. 10/10
Short and sweet. It's more of an experience than a game so don't expect action packed gameplay or anything, but the atmosphere is beautiful and the story was nice. The total runtime is about an hour, so go in expecting that. I'd say it was worth the money.
This one is a little different, it starts by telling you the game does not save your progress. Love it. Strange atmosphere and vibes, you open in a town that just hates you, everyone keeps calling you outcast. It's a bummer vibe. Then you head to the wilderness, where The Game is. You have to nurture a specimen (by collecting pickups) and not run out of water or health (by killing dudes for water, or finding water, or upgrading water efficiency), but it is the most barebones, simple, survival I have EVER seen. I beat it in one go, and it had a nice little "huh, well that's cool" ending. The environment is really interesting, and easy to learn while also being very strange.
Wonderful little game. For 3 dollars I would more than say its impressive. Shooting and the pickups are tactile. The main plot device being what basically amounts to an idle game allows you to explore on your own and there are sites to see. I feel like this one could be more than it is. Its a little bit of a split on aethestics between Star Wars and Kenshi. The ambience sells this brutal environment too. Really good work.
