This COULD have been a fun little arcade flight sim game but it is completely ruined by unfair immersion breaking time limits lack of controller support and default wonky controls. I cant make it past the second checkpoint on the third mission because they dont give you enough time to complete it. its the third mission! did anyone play test this?? You should fail a mission because you where shot down or failed to defend an objective not because some arbitrary counter that pops up in the middle of a dog fight. Thats just lazy! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TRASH!

This is very interesting thing... For every pro, there's a con that takes the pro out of the picture. On top of that, the devs seemed to have completely abandoned the game and not listening to player feedback at all. Now let's begin with the list of Pros and their corresponding Cons. PRO: Controls are fluid and responsive. CON: The above statement is only valid when you use a gamepad; however, even if you use one, you CANNOT REMAP its awkward buttons scheme, which is atrocious to say the least. Don't even try to play this with keyboard + mouse. PRO: The graphics are great. CON: Extremely limited graphic options, lack of fullscreen support (only supports either few or none of your resolutions). PRO: The audio sounds pretty nice and exciting. CON: The audio quality is very bad, and voice acting is all over the place, lip-sync is terrible. PRO: It's Ace Combat + Blazing Angels! CON: It's also every thing bad from both games to the factor of 10. PRO: The game is actually pretty fun. CON: But only for 1/3 of the time when you're actually shooting stuff. The bombing, the spying, and everything else are the opposite of fun. Especially if you take into account that there's a TIMER that basically serves to extinguish any fun to be had. PRO: It can have up to 85%-off discounts. CON: Yeah, sure, but getting yourself a hotdog probably gives you more satisfaction than playing this game. I believe that sums this game up pretty nicely. If you are determined to play this game, my recommendation is: wait for there's a trainer or mod, and get yourself a program to rebind button controls.

A eviter, !! Configuration nulle du joystick, on ne parle meme pas du mapping du clavier !! résultat un game play minable rendant le jeu injouable et qui vous degoute assez rapidement.

I like the story for this game, and have tried playing it a few times. Unfortunately there are several things that make the game difficult to play. Maybe this is due to GamePad or Mouse sensitivity, but I don't seem to have these types of issues with other games.

Мама а можно мне АСАН (Ace Combat: Assault Horizon )? У нас есть АСАН про вторую мировую дома. Дома. Покупая эту игру я думал что получу средний аркадный авиасим чисто на разок пробежаться,а получил пис оф шиш. Задумка была неплохая,сделать АСАН про вторую мировую.Но разработчики решили напихать много чего,и пеленг радиостанций,и догфайты,и бомбежки,и напарников,и разведснимки - но не рассчитали свои силы.А что выходит когда поднимаешь штангу всеом больше чем можешь поднять?То самое в штаны.....А игрокам в это предлагают играть. И если кривое управление (ускорение на В тормоз на А,замечательно) я еще как то вытерпел благо геймпад.То миссию всади в итальянских зенитчиков по 50 пуль в каждого.На ней уже дропнул игру.Ибо кривое управление плюс выходи с захода на наземную цель сочитаются плохо.Разработчики накрутили много чего в игру но оно не держится цельного куска. 0 с 10.Не видитесь на низкую цену с мотивацией ну на разок сойдет-я повелся не совершайте мою ошибку.Даже на разок не сойдет.

Nice arcade game if you have PS2 pad as I have. Graphics are decent. Price was 5 euros in sale. Worth it.
