IRON NEST is a brutal dieselpunk heavy-artillery game where you dominate the battlefield through a colossal war machine. Take map measurements based on the received coordinates, strain the hydraulics, and gunlay the cannons to unleash devastating blows ⟹ Will you obey High Command, Operator?

Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A brutal dieselpunk heavy-artillery simulator where you dominate the battlefield through a colossal war machine. Every lever, every dial, and every shot is under your control. High Command may send its orders, but the chain of command ends at your fingertips. They don't carry consequences. You do, Operator.
MAKE EVERY SHOT COUNT.
The teleprinters are calibrated to monitor local radio traffic. One delivers TOP-PRIORITY directives from High Command. The other relays direct calls from the frontline. Remember: every piece of information can determine the success of the entire operation.
Transform intelligence reports into a battle plan, get aerial photos that reveal the outcome of your actions, and watch your barrels reshape the landscape. The map isn't here just for measurements. It's also your window to the battlefield. Make no mistake. You can move the markers, but the scars remain.
Hammer the measurements, crank the numbers, and watch the ballistic calculator grind toward firing solutions. Drive the charges higher to blast shells across the horizon, or dial it back to arc them deliberately into enemy emplacements.
Beware: the machine may fail. You must not.
Breach bunkers with armor-piercing rounds, screen friendly withdrawals with smoke, and ████ █████████ with phosgene gas. It never happened if there are no witnesses. Every shell is forged for a single purpose, and whatever you choose will echo across the battlefield long after the smoke clears.
Haul the elevation wheel and watch the guns climb under your command. Match it with the exact propellant charge, or a surgical strike will turn into an avoidable mess. Precision is everything because neither flawless paperwork nor the finest propaganda will erase your guilt.
Drag the heavy lever and feel the entire structure shudder beneath your feet. A machine like IRON NEST doesn't spin on a whim. It takes time to swing that much iron with grace. Skilled Operators use that time to handle other tasks. After all, the coffee machine on your desk is there for a reason.
Pull the trigger, and let thousands of tons of machinery answer your call. Feel the turret recoil and watch the frontline crumble under the weight of steel. Once the dust settles, only silence remains, hanging heavy in the air, and the moment new orders arrive, it all begins again.

The campaign is set in alternate-history Spain in the late 1920s, on the brink of a civil war. In this timeline, the monarchy still holds power, and a republican uprising is spreading across the country.
IRON NEST is a two-person passion project from Nick Talmers (development) and Dominik Latos (propaganda). With 20+ years of combined experience and a lifelong obsession with artillery, interwar machinery, and dieselpunk, we're building the game we've wanted to play for years.
Nick has dreamed of IRON NEST for over a decade, and after meeting through developer-publisher collaborations, we decided it was time to bring this heavy spider-turret simulator, dripping with steel and power, to life.
The response has exceeded our wildest expectations. Thank you (truly) for every wishlist, message, and bit of support. It means even more because Heavy Turret Simulator is just the first step in the IRON NEST universe.

IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator is a first-person heavy-artillery experience that blends tactical problem-solving, complex war-machine management, and strategic decision-making into a genre of its own. The inspirations behind the game range from 1990s anime and Cannon Fodder to Nick’s passion for engineering and artillery. Also, we would like to acknowledge PVKK, which, in our view, helped shape the genre in which IRON NEST proudly stands.

I missed? My calculations were wrong? I was right! It should've hit him! How tf DID I MISS?!
This is my first review of a game so hi yall. This may be a 10/10 game after the first hour ive played. There is no direct tutorial which made the game seem hard at the start but the moment you get it which took like 5 minutes as there are guides on every step in the game u just need to read it became very fun. after clearing the first mission which was pretty easy the second one really showed me the importance of all the stuff i did in math class drawing the stuff on a map to find out direction and all that. First time in my life having fun with maths and the old world war 2 feel of the game with really machine type feel made it a great first hour of gameplay. For my last line i am german but i recommend playing it in english as it seemed more natural i guess i jsut wanted to play it in english and i also apologive for any english gramatic mistakes i made while writing this comment. I wish you all a pleasant time playing this game

This game made me realise I don't leave enough game reviews. It's that good I had to make sure other people know and on the off chance you read this I hope you buy the game, or at least try it for 2 hours because you'll probably keep playing through it. I got the game on sale for about £11 and completed a single run through of each mission in 11 hours, so for £1 an hour it was 100% worth it. The gameplay is simple but evolves, it holds your hand just enough for you to understand what's going on without just breezing through it. A perfect blend of challenge, satisfying mechanics and some A grade sound design. The game sounds exactly like what a "Heavy Turret" would, the noise and surroundings that happen when you fire a cannon never gets old and you'll be doing that plenty. My favourite mission is
when you lose your calculator
because it fundamentally alters your understanding of the game, and forces you into that. I can imagine that being a break point for some players and that's fine because those who keep going will get to the end of the game. I experienced no bugs, and whilst I'm not one for 100%-ing games I could easily see myself coming back and doing it for this game. This game is worth it even full price and I'm looking forward to the DLC.
Surprisingly intuitive for a game that appears extremely daunting at first glance. Makes you feel very smart when you succeed, and applies just the right amount of pressure to hurry you along in doing so, making that perfect shot feel all the more rewarding. Atmospheric design and tactile/satisfying interactions. A perfect indie.
Absolute gem of a game, would buy it again at full price if a VR version is made; and it would be even better if this version and VR version has multiplayer
