About
In "Iridescent" you step into the shoes of Kruk, a long time member of the Astel family, renowned healers entrusted with perilous missions. Tasked with curing a plague that transforms people into beasts or madmen, Kruk soon discovers that this affliction is merely a symptom of a world teetering on the brink of destruction. Being seemingly the only one who is willing to try, he embarks on an odyssey through the whole world to acquire the cure.
The classic Zelda formula of dungeons, exploration and side quests meets combat inspired by Sekiro. The combat is deflection/parry based while giving you plenty of room for self expression with many unique tools to use. The dungeons are sprawling with many puzzles and combat encounters. Each dungeon having unique theming and gimmicks to keep the game fresh!
Combat in "Iridescent" is a test of skill and precision. Embrace the art of parrying to deflect enemy attacks while sneaking your own attacks in between, gradually chipping away at their stagger bar until its filled and you can unleash a powerful grapple attack that inflicts massive damage. Boss battles are dynamic and intense, with adversaries evolving and adapting their tactics as the fight unfolds, keeping you on your toes until the very end.
The demo is the first level of the game given away for free. The savefile used will be usable in the full game so if you aren't sure about buying the game you can use the demo as a an extra refund window. The first level is a microcosm of the whole gameplay loop. On average it takes people about 1-2 hours to beat. If any of this seems at all interesting then it's the best place to start!

Reviews
Iridescent is a special game, it is brutally hard, and without much tools for you to make it easier, but i wouldn't say any boss in the game is unfair (some regular enemies however...). it's also likely you will run into some bugs, notice a good amount misspelled text, or get stuck in a area that seemingly has no way to proceed, but if you try to feel the games structure itself, it would be a healthy skeleton of a game that just lacks a LOT of polishing, and in a time when many big studios are pushing out lumps of flesh without any structure, Iridescent is a nice experience and challenge to remind people that difficult games are also meant to be fun. An Astel would know the difference between actually fighting the boss and gambling.
Jogo foda de mais, tudo bom pra caralho, as vezes c vai ficar meio perdido, mas depois de bater um pouco a cabeça c passa
Very cool game, very cool author, played it mostly on itch version soo it is time as i finish it on steam. Experience like nothing else, really, especially if you could look at the process of making it
