A Brief Review of HyperLeague Heroes
HyperLeague Heroes is terrific fun. I started playing at the end of December. As of this writing, I am about 500 hours in. I picked up the game just before a holiday event ended. The event unlock is still a member of my current team. The artwork appeals to me, along with the variety of villains, heroes, and monsters you can choose to form your line up. My playtime is predominantly idle but I do go active periodically. The game has many options that allow you to strengthen your characters and build up your team. Leveling up, upgrading your base, perks, fusions, battle formations, and gearing up feel meaningful; that is, when I make decent choices, I can get some pretty impressive advancements and progress. Well… for me. I am not the greatest player. You won’t find me passing you on the leader-boards or anything. One last observation—I find it encouraging that the developer consistently revises and updates the game. If you like idle or auto-battle games, I would recommend giving this a go. I certainly have had a blast so far.
I wish I could fully grasp the game, but i cant... it seems good but there is just something about it. but as far as auto battler games or idlers it seems fine. Here is my first impressions of the game (not a final review) BC explores https://youtu.be/BIHoXeBF7Ks
This game is a full release despite feeling like an early access. For starters, I am immediately greeted with a cutscene in the beginning, with no way to skip. This felt very uncomfortable immediately. I enjoyed the art style, the premise, the idea of collecting heroes, and the fact that it's an idle game. I dislike however how the dojo is one mechanic that I will most likely ignore forever. Being forced to click to level up while using a facility is very very annoying. When accessing the lounge, sometimes the heroes have items that you can claim. A dialogue box appears at the bottom upon clicking the hero, but you have no way of skipping or removing the dialogue box. You have to wait for a few seconds before you are able to click the back button. This may seem like an early issue, but if I am to frequently visit the lounge, this minor tedium can be very annoying afterwards. While I do appreciate being able to auto with the skills, the fact that I can't auto the skills in the loot rush mode or even in story mode is very, very confusing, unless maybe the function is unlocked at a later time. I don't understand why that is the decision when I can ALREADY choose to auto or not in the nemesis tower. I hope there is also a way to disable the screen switch effect. While I do recognize it is an homage to old superhero cartoon effects, it is very straining to the eyes sometimes. There is no pause button in game. You can only pause by pressing Escape. I have only played for less than an hour, and I am intrigued as to the potential direction of the game, but I can not recommend this despite being a full release, as it feels a lot like an early access still. Maybe if the game started as early access I wouldn't have been this harsh, but jesus christ are there a lot of non user-friendly things happening right now.
Pretty fun idle game. Interesting concept with fusion. Some rough edges: 1) Positioning members of your team is not intuitive. You have to toy with who is the leader and it's pretty messy. Will add more depth of strategy if targeting is more consistent and you can position your team meaningfully 2) As far as I can tell you can only get consumables by either spending the gems you need for fusion (very expensive) or randomly finding the NPC vendor in a match where he sells you a bunch for very little xp. Wouldn't it be better if we could craft these? 3) most of the monsters you'll never recruit because they just don't have good moves and their stats are inferior to other recruits in the same tier. would be better if there were random stats and random skills from a certain range which would incentivize you to spend your exp on recruiting a bigger variety of recruits vs. saving up stronger ones 4) auto use of skills is weird. it doesn't use them strictly when the cooldown is up almost as if it knows you don't need to use the skills, but then at other times it will just straight up stack every single move all at once Overall I had fun, hope they make some meaningful changes
Enjoying it so far. Gives you what you expect from an Idle game and love the superhero setting.
This game the best idle game I have ever played. With all the features I have bear to witness including the speed up time and also upgrading your base until you grind until time is nothing more, than a breif of thought to you at this rate, This game, was gifted to me from a friend, and I managed to find this game astounding, my friend also knew of my good tastes such as this, idle at its finest, great manage of what to do when your character levels up entirely, all I can say, good job to the developer who has made this kind of game that is addicting excellency. 10/10
My favorite iddle game
I have been playing this game since it was lunch and I have to say I am really enjoying it. Developer is really active and open to suggestions. I really like how the game evolved based on our feedback and I do hope that additional features will be coming in the upcoming days. Thanks again SiphonShockGames !
HyperLeague Heoes is an IDLE game. The game has great graphics and a pleasant sound. You have to create a team of characters and complete one level after another, and there seem to be hundreds of them. There are plenty of item pictures that your characters can unlock. I enjoyed the game for the first 1-2 hours, but after that the motivation dropped rapidly to the point where I thought about uninstalling it. The good thing is that it's cheap. The round with the characters is always the same: Start the battle and try to survive as many levels as possible, although this is hammer hard and no fun because you expect a first checkpoint only after 50 (!) levels. Until then you bite the dust 100 times. That is unmotivating! Here should be a checkpoint after the latest 10 levels or so. The crux of the game, however, is that you eventually reach a point where you just can't go any further. You have to buy new characters for expensive EXP (and they are outrageously expensive!), if you have unlocked them, which is only possible by reaching different levels. During the battles you can passively intervene through support potions that are total garbage. The opponents have already from level 20 felt too much life and the levels muass the team then also still create automated in a certain 'time. No idea how others do it, even when I equip the characters I never get over floor 70-74. Here, the developers should really readjust, even EXP you get much too little compared to the quite a few characters later cost millions of EXP. Everything in the game is time-restricted or time-blocked, which is really absurd and slows down progress. For example, there is a level where you can get equipment with your team by killing new waves of enemies. If you die at some point, you can't do this run again, because you have to wait x minutes before you're allowed back in. Another feature is the character fusion in which I can zweich characters quasi merge and get a stronger character, which has worked for me exactly 1x. At the second attempt in later levels, this no longer works. You need a certain amount of blue stones, which I had and yet I can not merge both characters and do not know why because any explanation is missing. During the battles, the blue potions (healing) inevitably run out at some point. Then I thought ok, you go to the supply room there is then also big crafting and you think hey, cool there I can create potions! No, this is just a stupid overview of the items that were collected in the battles. No crafting! What a piece of junk! Honestly, I want to like the game, but can't make it through all the restrictions, zero plan on how to progress. If I could cheat right now, I would! Take out all these time locks, let us craft properly in the supply room, introduce more checkpoints and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ don't give the enemies so much life especially in the beginning or if there is such a big chunk in the beginning then there shouldn't be 3-4 other enemies with it. Currently, I would not recommend the game, there's certainly better thought out games.
