I haven't even left a review on this game since I've played it last but reading some of these negatives have you looked at these accounts? they're straight negative ♥♥♥♥♥♥ accounts. Yea the story is short not a lot of content came out on release and that sucks but its another fighting game thats easier for people to learn and enjoy from an IP thatd popular. If you like invincible and fighting games you will like it. If not, then dont buy it very simple.
I understand and to some extent agree with every criticism I read regarding the short story mode, but as someone who plays fighters moreso for the quick pick up and play aspect, I love the gameplay and ease of access here. If it wasn't *titlecard* then I would still play it and enjoy it, but having these characters makes it even more fun. As a game to pick up every now and then, play a few matches, and then put down for another while, it's an easy win, however outside of that kind of play and party styles, it does fall flat with a somewhat limited roster and the aformentioned short story mode. I hope that the dlc characters share the quality of the base game's roster and continue to make the game a little more dynamic feeling, but with a 3 on 3 fighting game like this, the same combination or same fighters start to show up again and again very quickly, and with only a handful of arenas to choose from, I do think it would benefit from more expansions to make it easier to play long term.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Another 2D fighting game...
My Experience with the Genre
I've played Tekken 4–7, Mortal Kombat 9–1, and Injustice: Gods Among Us. I'm not a competitive player, so I usually buy these games for their campaigns and character stories rather than the online experience.
Campaign
The campaign takes only 1–2 hours to complete and feels more like a prologue than a full story mode. The Arcade Mode follows the standard formula: fight your way to the top and unlock a character-specific ending. Unfortunately, most of these endings don't feel rewarding. For example, Dupli-Kate's ending essentially boils down to her saying she's good at dying and fighting, so she'll keep doing both. It adds very little to the character and offers no meaningful development.
Gameplay
The gameplay is fairly simple compared to its competitors. In many cases, characters can perform full combos by repeatedly pressing the same button. While the Invincible universe offers plenty of interesting characters, the current roster feels far too small.
What Makes It Unique?
The game's biggest distinguishing feature is its 3v3 combat system. You're encouraged to switch characters frequently, and inactive characters gradually recover health while on the sidelines. It's a fun mechanic, but not enough to carry the entire experience on its own.
Pricing
The pricing is difficult to justify. €50 for the standard edition and €70 for the deluxe edition feels excessive considering the amount of content available. The game honestly feels more like an early-access title or a demo than a fully featured fighting game. For me, it's missing both a substantial story mode and a larger roster.
Progression
There aren't many satisfying rewards to work toward. I would have expected unlockable skins that help your characters stand out, but instead you're mostly limited to a handful of color variations. Actual skins are locked behind additional purchases, which only makes the pricing feel worse.
Overall
Invincible VS doesn't do enough to differentiate itself from its competitors to justify its price tag. While the 3v3 mechanics are enjoyable, the limited content, small roster, short campaign, and lackluster progression make it difficult to recommend at full price. Personally, I'd value this closer to €15 than €50.
So far after buying the game, I really enjoyed it though. I will say one thing, the minimum system requirements should be updated, because despite what it says, even for my PC with its current specs, it somehow runs well and smooth. Just note that you have to be on low graphic settings for obvious reasons.
Budget was 37 bucks and a half bag of doritos
