«Invasion 2: Doomed /
This game is the sequel to "Invasion: lost in time", the main characters are the same but the plot is different and it is always based on the same style as the previous one, it's a science fiction adventure genre with a futuristic plot, focused on finding objects in various scenarios and interspersed with minigames. MY IMPRESSION: Very nice graphics, wonderful sceneries with snowy landscapes where the sky is not blue but violet, beautiful sunsets, and mountain views. Excellent sliding playability never frustrating and simple, the object-seeking scenes are not classic conventional but pleasant and engaging because they require you to interact with various objects to obtain others, one thing struck me favorably: MINIGAMES are fantastic believe me, they are many and all new, let's say that they are not the classic puzzles that you commonly find in other similar games, I found them original and also fun; some more difficult ones require more effort, but you can always count on the "SKTP" button and they can all be replayed in the MENU by clicking on "Bonus". Long enough not to finish it in a few hours, there are several chapters to do to complete the story. If you like challenges there are several Achievements to be achieved within the game you can find them in the Menu, they require a bit of skill in the minigames, for example: finish them in a few moves to unlock them. PLOT The protagonists are 2 environmental scholars MIKE and JANE who are called to investigate strange phenomena that have appeared on our beautiful planet. What is happening on earth? the days are getting shorter, and the Tropics are devastated by large and anomalous hurricanes, Mike is worried because he believes that all this will lead to climate change with consequent natural catastrophes all over the globe. As they fly on their small biplane to reach the anomalous zone, they see a large and threatening hurricane approaching the horizon, unfortunately they can not do anything and the plane crashes, they find themselves safe but stuck on the island. Their investigations will lead them to discover a very different reality from what they imagined, behind all these catastrophes there are even the Aliens, they are the inhabitants of the planet Torion, previously they had already tried to invade the Earth, but their plans have not succeeded and so years later they came back with another plan: to decrease the rotation of the earth so that its infrastructure collapses, in this way they can easily take control of it. Our task is to find 4 planets where the Torion have placed their spaceships and stop their evil plans, we can access these planets through Portals It will be beautiful and fascinating to explore these new planets, but after defeating the forces of evil will we be able to go back in time to save the Earth using our acquired knowledge and ingenuity? We will find out only by playing until the end !! CONCLUSION I must say that I liked Hidden Objects as a habit, nice idea of setting everything in space, but above all I recommend it if you want to know new puzzles and minigames I found them fun and nice to do. The plot is interesting and engaging, the planets to visit are well reproduced and imaginative, I would say that overall it is an excellent game, suitable for its purpose, fun and relax.
Invasion 2: Doomed
Hidden object game of 2020. In the Hidden-Object Puzzle Adventure "Invasion 2: Doomed", the earth day has suddenly shortened by a few minutes and an abnormal hurricane zone has formed in the tropics. Mike believes this is just the beginning of catastrophic change. As he leaves to investigate, his plane is caught in a storm and crashes. This is where his adventure begins. (Developer) Slip into Mike's role and find a portal to fascinating unexplored planets. If you manage to uncover the power behind all this, there is a chance to save the earth and its inhabitants! This is then the story you can earn. I liked it, but it's very striking. Possible scenarios are shifted to other planets, all of which are undesirable and represent the maximum of natural disasters. Unfortunately, towards the end of the game, this story is rather unsatisfactory. I don't know part one, the content of this is pointed out in the game. It is possible that the story of part two will then be more understandable. A hidden object game, not so difficult, with mini-games. You can skip them and there is help everywhere else. These are very well made and the graphics are also extremely good. I particularly like the way the environment is displayed, very well designed. It clearly stands out from the crowd of games. Whereby we would be at the only point of criticism. The screen setting cannot be adjusted, so full screen does not work, which means that you have to play in the window. I'm currently playing on a small 39" monitor. However, the window is big enough for this game that is not that difficult to play. You can tell that it was made with a lot of heart and soul, but Wohl lacked the money to give the game a better ending. In any case, it has my recommendation, I hope that I can still catch up on the first part (maybe someone has a key for me?) and that there is a part three. Lots of SF adventure in the game, almost a point & click. Recommended! Empfohlen! Great Game – I really enjoyed playing. The Earthly day has suddenly become several minutes shorter and an abnormal hurricane zone has formed in the tropics. Your job is, to search fascinating unexplored planets to solve this mystery and save our planet! I`m a big alien fan, and when the devs found a way of bringing beautiful, otherworldly graphics, I`m in! The graphics are done well with fantastic backgrounds, realistic NPCs, and beautifully detailed close-ups. The Characters are well drawn and the music is nice … there are no voiceovers, but it doesn`t detract from gameplay. Environmental sounds were appropriate. There are very good mini games – challenging, but not tooooo hard. The hidden object scenes where great - for a tired girl, with fuzzy eyesight, this really was surprisingly playable – no too dark scenes or too small objects. "Invasion 2: Doomed", this is nearly a CE for an SE price. I highly recommend the second part of this series, and hope we`ll see more from this dev. Happy gaming!
Invasion 2: Doomed

Vorwort:
Näheres gleich in meiner ausführlichen Review.
Adventure HOG + variety of puzzles - dated graphics = A decent HOG with easy-mid challenge. You can use hints or skip puzzles if you get stuck.
Follow our curator for similar games
Another mass-produced "adventure" for HOG-aholics. I accepted a review copy because I expected it to be as entertainingly bad as the last one I got from the same devs, and the awkward logo on the store page seemed to confirm that hope. Alas, this one is just boring-bad. I mean, the puzzles and hidden object scenes are probably fine, and again there are some pretty backgrounds (though not as pretty as in the other game). The plot seemed quite generic though, and the writing and English translation were really poor (again). I had to give "Legacy - Witch Island 2" credit for keeping me entertained for a few hours, but this one I just didn't find interesting in any way. I'm not really into HOGs, though, and I'm really bothered by sloppy writing and bad translations - I guess if you like their other games then this one will be good enough. You can skip puzzles, there's a map with fast travel option, and hey, It is pretty cheap... Ran on my Ubuntu system with the newest Proton version, but crashed once during my 40 min (?) of playtime. Apparently it tends to be unstable on Windows 10 as well (just like the devs' other games). Oh! I just saw that the store page promises full English audio - I didn't get any. * * * If you like chill and story-driven games, check out my curator Peaceful Adventures and Stories. While the game has some good parts, many of the mini games, the overall bland nature of the game was a slog to get through. The English grammar and spelling were bad, it was obvious none of the writers speak English as a first language. Even the premise of the game was drawn out and convulted. many of the mini games threw you in the deep end without help unless you clicked the hint button, so you are clicking around trying to figure out why you chose to install this game, only to have to click hint to figure it out.
If you enjoyed Invasion: Lost in Time, well, this is a direct continuation of the story and of comparable quality. Which, for the most part, is a good thing: more great and original puzzle mini-games and more of the exciting, fast-paced sci-fi story. However, we also have the same buggy game engine. With the previous game I could not play in 4K. With this one I can only play in 4K, but that means text is often very tiny and also clicking on dialogs does not dismiss them. I could still finish the game and it didn't bother me too much, but ... awkward. Worse, once again there were bugs that forced me to quit and return to the game. Again, I could still finish the game. Also worth noting that the English translation is even worse than in the first game. In this case there are even blatant typos and spelling mistakes. Again, nothing to keep you from understanding what is going on. So, thumbs up for the gameplay, but get ready to demand a refund from Steam if the bugs are too much for you.
Invasion 2: Doomed is a mobile-esque hidden object/hotspot screen tapping game, very much like the dozens of Artifex Mundi mobile apps infesting Steam. Gameplay consists of the usual, expected hidden object puzzles and 2D static image adventuring to progress a somewhat mediocre adventure/mystery story. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes this is a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the game only ever reached a peak player count of only 6 players. That's right, only 6. This is a pitiful enough number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is remarkable, but also to be expected. This complete and utter rejection of the game from gamers should be a keen information point for anyone considering buying shovelware like this. Gamers just didn't take this seriously, and for good reason. Invasion 2: Doomed has an overly optimistic price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam.
