About
Dozens of hours of slow-paced suspenseful survival.
An unforgiving dystopian environment of the Pechorsk Anomaly Zone.
Diverse natural, industrial and urban locations with vast exploration potential.
Navigate with your realistic map, plan your route, climb over obstacles, scout out shelters, uncover loot caches, and try not to get killed.
Realistic handling of various classic and modern weapons.
Day and night cycle: scavenge for loot and scout during the day, sneak around and evade your enemies under cover of night.
Dangerous anomalies, bleak atmosphere, and urban exploration.
Explore miles and miles of forests, swamps, and crumbling industrial ruins. But be careful: the Radius is filled with deadly anomalies dealing damage to anyone foolish or daring enough to get close.
The place is swarming with hostile creatures — Fragments, Mimics, and more are roaming around 24/7 and will take every chance to let you know you are not welcome.

Into the Radius features a stunning variety of classic and modern firearms like the AKM Kalashnikov, PM, SKS Carbine, M9 Beretta, PPSh, FN SCAR, and many more with matching ammo. Realistic interaction, manual magazine loading with different ammo types, and weapon attachments.
Take care of your weapons — if they take damage or their condition deteriorates, they will begin to jam. Be sure to switch off the safety before you start firing! Realistic bullet physics causes ricochets, and bullets can penetrate different materials.
Your only means of survival is to sneak around with your detector, hunt for artifacts, and complete the missions assigned via the vintage UNPSC desktop at the base. Your trusty friends in the Radius Zone are stealth, silence, and planning.
Understand how to navigate the terrain, move slowly, take cover, crouch, sneak, and beware of the threats around you!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

50% stalker, 50% extraction shooter, 100% peak VR gaming. Weapon handling, ammo handling, inventory, all done excellently. Spooky and immersive and atmospheric and intense. Looking forward to the sequel.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE A BEEFY PC, YOU WILL EITHER HAVE TO PLAY IT LIKE A BLURRY MESS, OR ON LOW FPS (60 WHICH CAUSES MOTION SICKNESS FOR ME), IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE THAT, STEER AWAY. One of the greatest VR games (VR gaming scene is really bad overall) beside Half-Life Alyx, a kind of game where it's good to endure and go into blind and get professional at as you progress, also one where exploring puts you at your heels constantly. My main grip with the game is the bad tracking (well when you play Half Life Alyx, it really spoils you with it's great tracking) and insane learning and difficulty curve early on, once you scale it, it becomes super easy. One of the only game where I actually spent more time on side content (weapons range), honestly even if you don't like the genre of games, it good to give it a go in VR.
Overall:
It's a very good horror-ish thriller survival shooter. I recommend if you're a gun nerd or someone that likes a solid feeling of progression. It is maybe a little jank and potentially a bit grindy. This actually took 30 hours but for whatever reason booting the game via quest doesn't record game time or achievements. It does take a bit to get going and the tutorial is a bit long but after that you're good to go.
I liked:
- Great feeling of progression throughout the game. You start out with a crappy pistol, a knife and a dream. The midgame is a slightly better pistol and maybe a decent shotgun or single shot rifle. You end with a high powered armour piercing rifle, a one shot pistol and ammo for days. - Thrilling and tense, It's not explicitly horror but you will have to go into dark enemy infested places while desperately listening for footsteps. There is a type of enemy that sneaks up on you but it's not a jumpscare, more like quick reactions needed to put them down. - I started out freaked out by every monster, cowering and always returning to base at night. By the end I was the one hunting in the dark. It really gets you into mastering your fear and overcoming your aversion to darkness. - Each area was unique and a little surreal - Artifact hunting was cool and I was wondering which ones I'd get for a lot of the game. - Near endgame approaching a mission prepped and ready to go was neat and tactical. I found myself looking for long sightlines or planning time of day based on where I was going. - Loading mags with ammo and prepping how many boxes vs how many mags and then loading my belt was cool.
I have no strong opinions on:
- The story. It sort of comes and goes but the gameplay is the really good part. The occasional voiced dialogue was neat but it's all very surface level observations and such. I didn't really feel for any characters (maybe briefly at the end). - Inventory management. You have a 3d cube to put any items in and you can overlap as much as you want. One the one hand it's neat to be able to arrange your gear. On the other it becomes a mess after like 2 pieces of loot which sometimes leaves you digging through for ammo. - Gun enemy AI is a little jank. Sometimes they play well and path to you or hunt you down. Other times they spawn in the floor or notice you and then do not move ever meaning you have to go flush them out. Is it tactical? Maybe? But I found it a little irritating when they would run away and then just hide in a tiny room with their gun pointing at the door instead of fighting. - Gun maintenance. On the one hand, cool to be cleaning and prepping before going out. On the other hand that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brush minigame sucks. You spray oil on a gun and then make a jerking motion and pray it gets cleaner. Also mags and knives can't be repaired manually (you can in the machine) but it doesn't tell you this. Also by midgame your guns will start getting bad before even returning from a run which means - you guessed it - more brushing >:(
I disliked:
- Stealth mechanics are really unclear. Sometimes it feels like enemies see you from miles away, other times they're oblivious until you get close. Snipers and Spawns seem to see you from half the map away. Apparently the time of day, light level and crouching make a difference but really it felt like luck. Even at night some areas are really well lit. Am I hidden or not? No idea. - Sometimes the movement is janky. Sometimes your guy will randomly stop running. Other times he can't make it up 1ft high cliffs. If you are crouched slightly or your headset's guardian floor is slightly too high up you will frequently be stuck in the ground unable to walk properly. - Your physical body turns based on a combination of head direction and last moved direction which means your mags and pistol are never where you want them. Also sometimes your knife gets grabbed while going for your main gun. - Dying leaves all your loot where you died. This would probably double the game's length. I understand the game is supposed to be unforgiving but sometimes you die near instantly or an enemy is in the floor around a corner with a shotgun. I advise just quickloading. - Player runs slooooow with stuff. By mid game you are definitely leaving base with 25+ kilos in your pack which means you suffer movement speed and run stamina penalties. Going above 30 is likely if you pick up any loot. 40 if it's a good run. - At the 6th mission the difficulty significantly spikes and this requires a lot of grinding to get the money you need for armour piercing weapons. The side missions give very little cash so you MUST pick up artifacts every time. This leads to having a regular artifact pickup route and the obstacles and enemies and artifact locations are not varied enough to support this. This is further compounded by the fact you NEED a good amount of money each trip just to pay your ammo and silencer repair costs. - The shop UI sucks in that you can't check what stats or player level a gun has before you buy it. At level 4 you unlock like 5 different assault rifles. How am I supposed to judge which one is for me? - Furthermore the guns have no granularity for their stat bars. At one point I had to judge a pistol's damage by how far the bar was along the word damage. I advise looking up a guide for the stats at each player level. - Why do I need to grind side missions to access the story missions? Near the beginning of the game this makes sense but at the end I'm pretty likely to beat mission 8 or 9 if I beat 7.
This is the game that got me into VR, it will always hold a special spot in my heart.
