Went in thinking it might be some copyright-distinct VR co-op S.T.A.L.K.E.R., but that is not what I found. It is alike in theme, and maybe a bit in atmosphere, as S.T.A.L.K.E.R., but Roadside Picnic would end up being a closer resemblance. Singleplayer is really enjoyable when you get going, having a nice combination of small missions and special story missions. The gunplay and gun-creation is really well done and enjoyable, making for great combat encounters. While enemies are not very diverse, their AI offer up a decent challenge and make sure you aren't careless in the Radius. Anomalies are admittingly more tedious than enjoyable but without them the game would just be a shooter. I'd suggest downing their damage and spawnrate a bit. The game isn't perfect though, especially for one that now claims that it's left early access. The story, while the missions are enjoyable, are narratively bland. The characters in the story are hard to give a damn about. Co-op, while funny, is GLITCHY, as hell. So if you want pure atmospheric serious gameplay, the game will try to ruin it for you, you'd be better served going in expecting ♥♥♥♥ and giggles (with the occasional gunfight) in co-op. And sadly, singleplayer itself also has glitches, less than co-op, but still bad; - Broken levelling rewards; free health at main base not working at correct level - Sound of enemies disappearing after you've died, needing a restart or you're missing vital audio cues - Subtitles not matching dialogue correctly - And last but worst; gun disappearing off of belt, nowhere to be found, RIP stashed mosin, you'll be dearly missed. So, don't expect a perfect game, but singleplayer at least still is REALLY enjoyable and immersive... if you can play it. It's very demanding on PC specs and older VR headsets will not work for it. If you want a more stable singleplayer experience, for older PCs/VR, try Into The Radius 1.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Надоедливые непропускаемые диалоги, при открытии карты игра провисает, на последней локе очень лагает, в коопе предметы могут зависнуть в воздухе если были в руках
Excellent game. Head and shoulders above the original in every aspect. The quests have become more varied. The locations are larger and much more densely packed with things to do. A strong tactical element has been added: clearing buildings room by room, where you genuinely fear taking one step too many. This was almost completely absent in the first game, and it was something the game really lacked. Here, in the third location, there is an entire city district to clear out. During raids, you can find weapons on the bodies of former researchers with special attachments that cannot be bought in the store, which is a nice touch. The weapon customization system is very advanced. It adds depth and interest without overloading the gameplay. The enemy AI is not exactly amazing, but it is much better than in the first game. Overall, it is a very good game. If you liked the first part, the second one will please you even more. As for the drawbacks, optimization should be mentioned. At the moment, it is lacking. The Radius has become more dangerous, the anomalies are more varied, and the enemies are more interesting.
This game is awesome. One of the best survival horror games disguised as an awesome action game ever. (I played on Realistic Ironman difficulty my first playthrough). Never have I gasped and gotten jumpscared by unscripted gameplay so much in a VR game, or any game for that matter. It doesn't have quite the polished graphics as the REALLY big budget hitters, but the gameplay is quite polished and it has a cool dreary art style, it can make this "the one" if you're looking for an excuse to get a VR headset. It certainly got me to pull my Meta Quest 2 out of the box! I haven't gotten this hooked on a VR game since I got the first Into the Radius on discount randomly. It reminds me of playing Dark Souls without looking anything up. You never truly know what to expect, and only painful experience can give you lasting knowledge sometimes. Very fun, very immersive, and if you don't feel like being immersed in the bleak atmosphere, you can bring a friend along. I do want to mention that the story wasn't bad at all in this one, but I think the first game ultimately had better writing. I have an i7 10700k and a 3070 8 GB, plays mostly stable as long as you keep the resolution at 100%. Tipping it past that point caused bad stutters for me in larger areas, probably a VRAM issue. There are some noticeable bugs, such as enemies that like to melee attack you spawning in the floor, the watch face not working in certain areas without taking damage first, and the #1 problem that annoyed me was definitely bad geometry collision, especially in the forests of the largest area of the game. There are several "problem areas" that I memorized to avoid getting stuck on invisible geometry, and you'll want to avoid any fallen trees. The collision detection on those was regularly abnormally large compared to the visuals. The developer needs to do another pass and fix those problem areas. However, they are all able to be worked around, so it wasn't a dealbreaker for me. Don't be like me and play on Realistic Ironman for your first playthrough, unless you've got prior experience with the first game or are willing to dump some time grinding your gear back up when you inevitably learn a hard lesson.
This game isn't for everyone as it is a Stalker-like game with hardcore survival elements. As for me, I love this game IR2 is such an improvement over IR1. The customization is seriously insane, it is really cool being deep in the zone and finding a stashed gun part and to bring it back to the base to make it my own. Additionally, combat is really awesome and I love the additions that 1.0 brought. The Devs deserve more love.
Glitchy but really fun, i like to create monster weapons in this game with WAY TOO MANY ATTACHMENTS and a bit of pink (i don't like the color, i just find it funny) EDIT : i've reached the Outskirts area and it's actually unplayable in coop due to extreme stutters/crashes, AND I HAVE A GOOD PC SO IT'S NOT ON ME I'll change back to positive when it's fixed so i can reach the endgame with my bro
Into the Radius VR was one of my all time favorite games. ITR2 improves on a lot of things. Overall the gun play, custom rigs, mobility, and general game play is better. The atmosphere and story of the original is definately something to check out too. The franchise is just so much fun.
If you are a fan of the first game, or if you enjoy terrifying VR shooters, this is absolutely worth your time and money if you have the PC to run it. I did not play Co op so I can't speak to that.
This game is good, it has many downsides... one is that its very unoptimized, other games like H3VR (lots of mods), B&S max graphics my computer flies though them at nearly 120 (occasionally 90). Anyways my computer struggles to manage 90 fps let alone 80. so please if its one thing i will say its that the devs. please optimize this game much more. other then that the story needs work, the game is meant to be a horror game and the side character for the game seems very out of place for this game, too happy and upbeat. Another critique on this game is that, it needs better gunplay the guns feel very stiff, and jumpy, also when you move they tend to slide around making aiming hard. They definitely should be more freeing and useable. One last one is that they need to add a range and sandbox mode. other then that a pretty soild game overall.
extremely laggy even at lowest settings
