Reviews
I wish I could give this game a positive review but me a friends have only been having issues. As of today we had an issue where my friend got sent outside the map passed a teleport barrier forcing us to revert too an older save. There's also just way to may anomalies, there is this one area on like the second mission where it feels like the devs just spammed them ever where making it just really damn annoying. Oh and the enemys walking around just have straight up aimbot like they almost never ever miss.
This is shaping up to be even greater than the first game (wich is an incredibly immersive masterpiece). Also runs perfectly for me on medium settings + high view distance. Very much worth the price

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
"Absolute PEAK VR game."
Into the Radius 2 is a much more refined and tactile upgrade to the beloved ITR1. It feels more modern, with more guns, a more techy and clean home base, and everything is customizable and can be personalized to your liking.
--THE IMPROVED--
ITR2 is very similar yet different from ITR1. It takes the singleplayer STALKER-inspired survival-based extraction looter shooter and turned it into a highly modernized experience whilst mostly keeping the "lone wolf" feeling from the first game. The gameplay loop is still mostly the same, accept missions, complete them, gain money and security levels to get harder missions, better guns and equipment, and delve deeper into the Radius. But this time, you have access to customizable backpacks, chest rigs, completely customizable and detachable gun building system, and you can play it with friends!
--NEW ZONES--
ITR2 has a completely new roster of zones to explore. Same system as ITR1, set explorable zones connected with each other, each new zone being harder than the next. Although the number of zones are smaller, they are MASSIVE and super detailed and alive. Anomalies are EVERYWHERE and although some are fine, others are just annoying and not really interactive cough cough, static electricity anomaly. I like the way they handled artifacts, as they are way more interactive and unique than just flashbanging them with your detector.
--ENEMIES--
There aren't really any new enemies in ITR2. The old enemies got a really good-looking makeover in my opinion and have so much more personality. But the main enemies you'll be encountering are basically just mimics. My only complain when it comes to the redone enemies is the new OP Pecho spaghetti monster thing. In the old game they felt counterable but now they zip up into the air and stiffly lunge at you with no time to react and always hit you.
--THE STORY--
ITR2's story is unfortunately just ITR1's ending but prettier. I won't say much beyond that but the ending was kinda disappointing for me. The story leading up to it is nice though, you have Lauri and the other head researcher which does bring some light to the story. It's mostly just mission-this and do-this-here-that though. Speaking of missions, the missions suffer from the same repetitive-ness from the first game. Same few missions which gets boring and heavily kills replayability. --- Story: 🔲Life-changing 🔲Great ✅Mediocre 🔲Bad 🔲Atrocious Gameplay: 🔲Incomparable ✅Great 🔲Mid 🔲Pretty bad 🔲Not fun Graphics: 🔲Heavenly ✅Pretty 🔲Decent-enough 🔲Not terrible 🔲Ugly Hardware Intensity: 🔲Can run on anything 🔲Greatly optimized ✅Need a decent PC 🔲Better have money 🔲Unoptimized slop Replayability: 🔲Never gets old 🔲Fun for months 🔲Fun for a decent bit ✅Not really fun replaying 🔲Lost its charm after the first run
--OVERALL: 8/10--
ITR2 has improved a lot of what made ITR1 so good, but also suffers from the same issues too. Same handful of missions, same weird and mostly unexplained ending, yada yada. I still recommend for those who loved ITR1 or STALKER-inspired games.
recently its felt like the sequal was always better. i first had to play this from quest and it was alright it was cool seeing the progress but then they said it was leaving early access so i got it on sale from memory and have been gradually playing through it again. so much has changed and its so cool to see all the additions. they've made another banger of a game and i genuinely cannot stop recommening this to all my friends.
Probably the best Co-op vr experience I've had.
some minor bugs but that can be attributed to early access, but beside that its an absolutely amazing game and ive had a ton of fun with my friend in it
Smoke cigarettes with your room mates (other explorers), kill random dudes that float into the sky after, blow all your money on crackers and use the worlds ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ walkie talkie to pretend to be in the military. 10/10
As a 'Feet On The Ground' type of VR game, Into the Radius 2 is by far the best one I have tried ever. Everything is awesome in this game. It was buggy when it came out, but they've fixed all the major bugs, and continue to fix bugs. The game is amazing and super fun to play. The mechanics work great. The world they've created is fascinating, and corresponds a lot with Roadside Picnic novel. There's a lot of things we can do. If you have a VR headset and a fine PC, this game is a must to have.
I've dumped countless hours on this game on standalone and just switched to pcvr and i'm sad I didn't do it sooner.
It's a neat little VR story shooter. If you want STALKER in VR, check out ZONA first!
