Reviews
I'll start of this review with the following statements and the way I play my game: - Everyone has different tastes and I don't expect people to have the same as mine, just giving my 2 cents. - I launch the game in this order (Quest 2 -> Run Virtual Desktop -> Connect to pc -> "Games" tab -> Launch ITR2) - I only played Single player, I cannot comment on how well Co-op works. - Most of my time spent in this game was during it's early-access phases, only the last 8 hours were the actual "Full release" experience. ===== Small introduction: Like probably a whole lot of other people I thought the first Into The Radius game was phenomenal and really is still in my opinion a must play. When Into The Radius 2 was announced and subsequently released, I bought it on the very first day and played through a couple versions, I was always annoyed at how my progress kept being reset (even though that's a me-issue, not their fault). Due to various circumstances and other interests, I had no longer played ITR2 for a very long time and I didn't touch neither the beta for 1.0 or the actual 1.0 release update, I started playing again now that the shooting range has been added and have now played for about 8 hours. ===== The good and the bad. The good: Graphics: - While the game always had good graphics, I really do feel like the more dark and gritty environment compliments this very well. Overall I would say that graphic-wise this game is very good across the board. Performance: - Performance (Everything normal) has not been an issue for me (yet) and I find myself enjoying sessions of about 2-3 hours without any major noticeable performance drops. Guns: - The guns in this game are just simply put very well made, they look good, they sound good and most importantly they feel fun to use in combat, the variety of guns I used include: Mosin, M4, AKS, Double barrel and a couple handguns. - The way you can really make a gun your own is also nothing short of a blast. Finding a "stashed" version of a gun, fixing it and then buying the remaining parts for it to actually work, really endorses exploration if you seek more fire-power. Enemies: - I think turning the mimics from the shadow people they used to be in the first game, to these twisted human-lik entities they are now is a very well made decision and I especially appreciate that they have the uniforms that fiit the region and time of the setting of the game. - The fragment and it's almost invisible counterpart (I forgot it's name lol) look alright, but if they had the same appearance as the first game, I also wouldn't have minded. - The Spawn is a cool redesign, that's about where the good things end for it. The anomalies, artifacts and general loot: - The anomalies actually feel like the radius twisted and corrupted everything inside the zone and made it it's own playground and I think they all have a feature or purpose unique enough that they fit inside the game, although some are better than others. - The artifacts where you have to break the glass container around them, shine a light at it or grab it from the white thing are fun to interact with and don't make feel grabbing an artifact like the same boring thing every single time. - For the loot, I like that you can find guns, parts for guns and other actual useable stuff instead of buying it, again this rewards those people that explore. The maps: - I think the maps are fine, they combine and introduce a multitude of different levels and sectors of what a town/city in that time and region would've looked like, even while twisted and corrupted. - The in-between (from the first region to the second) was really a blast for me and had me on my toes the entire time, exactly what it should do, I expected more enemies than there actually were. The missions: - Follows the same recipe from the first game, go there and collect an artifact, retrieve this or that. - For the main missions it's kind of the same recipe but they often tackle newer concepts and introduce fun new mechanics like finding the invisible artifacts, the portals etc. ===== The bad: Lauri: - As a concept, I think he's interesting but simply put he appears too much, says too much and his overall demeanor doesn't seem in-line with what the setting is. When I heard about him I was skeptical but I went in with an open mind but in my opinion he seems to relaxed for someone who has apparently experienced the radius first-hand. Katya in the first game filled a similar role to Lauri, that one being to guide players while also giving them a bit of the story. What is different however is the frequency and the actual encounter you have with her, she felt more as a voice of hope and motivation, sprinkling it stories of her old life and very subtly nudging you in the right direction. Lauri however actively interacts with you quite frequently and guides you a lot more, while this approach might be more helpful to people who wanna play, speed run through the game and complete it, it really hurts that idea of ''Should I go there or should I go there?'', especially in the in-between I found myself annoyed at how Lauri says ''You should go that way'' and at the end saying ''There's mimics setting up an ambush for you" basically ruining that surprise, an ambush is not much of an ambush if you know about it. If they made Lauri more like Katya, it would really bring back that feeling off "I'm all on my own and I'm all that I've got" feeling when playing alone or at the least make him a lot more serious, display in his behavior the mental state he's in after what he went through in the radius and what it did to him. The Spawn: - While the spawn has a cool redesign, it is a lot more quiet and it's behavior is a lot more annoying. I get that it's there distract you and that you should wait till it's preparing to jump at you, but when it does eventually jump at you it seems to lock in on you and follow you even if you try to dodge, I liked it when in the first game, you could wait for a clean shot when it was preparing to jump or try and dodge the jump and then kill it and right now it seems like that is either very hard or impossible. ''Altered'' loot: - Having the altered loot switch to fully black and then back for a second is a really boring way to make it look like that, altered loot should statically look very different from their normal counterpart make it so altered loot really has that "That doesn't look normal at all" look to it. Knives: - I think if you used a tooth brush you would get the same result, just doesn't have the same feel to it as the first game did. === All of this said, I do really think it's a good game and even though I am not very fond of Lauri, looting and shooting enemies while exploring the maps still is incredibly fun, with the amount of new features and tweaks compared to the old game, you'll have fun again in this game. ITR1 from my understanding also had a lot of changes to it's gameplay so I do think that CM will listen to the community and shape the game into something the average person will be happy with.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

si juegas con gente es super weno y tambien muy chistoso. los objetos tienen buenas interacciones y las armas las puedes ir armando a medida que encuentras las piezas o las puedes comprar. Divertido
First game was PHENOMENAL, incredible atmosphere, ran great, felt like real stalker in VR. The sequel? The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BETA's felt like they had more emotion. The game is riddled with performance issues and bugs, coop barely working.. I know the game could work for others better, but for me it does not nor do i enjoy what it has become.
YEAAAAAAAAA, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOVE LOADING SHADERS DUDE
A little laggy sometimes and it was crashing every once in a while for me, overall great game

A big step ahead from the first one. One of the best Vr games ever made. Literally a must buy.
I played this game always on Co-Op with my friend, the game is constantly lagging and bugging out. Here is a few bugs I encountered: Night Vision don't work sometimes My friend lag a lot of the time with an RTX 4060 8GB VRAM running at low settings. Sometimes the gun bugging out like can't reload or insert the mag on the client side The sound of the enemies don't work sometimes Game randomly crashes Gun floating and getting stuck into walls One of the thing that not a bug but is very annoying is when my friend load into a save, he is not loaded in yet but is taking damage which would cause him to die half the time which is very annoying.
