Into Blue Valley

It's been years since I played this and I don't remember all of it, but what I do remember is that I didn't regret buying it in sale at all, because I quite liked this short, stylish, nice looking experience in found-footage atmosphere. Therefore I'm quite surprised it got "mixed" reviews as it imo pretty obviously states what you're in for, so if you like the general idea/aesthetic than give this a shot for a few bucks.

A few little bugs like getting stuck in walls or trapped behind something that you just can't get free from. Also the trailers look way better than the real game. I don't think that the story of watching events through a vhs video camera lends itself to a graphically good game, it becomes a boring eyestrain after a while. I love walking type simulators but this just doesn't look nice or play well.

It was presumably aiming to raise questions, but thanks to its half-hearted presentation and sparse narrative, the only question it raises is, “How do I get [i]out[/i] of Blue Valley?” Full review: http://www.darkstation.com/reviews/into-blue-valley/

Yes, I liked the game a lot and have played it through a couple of times. A relaxing walking simulator which was better the second time through. The enviroments were very well rendered, most notably the village ! Many of the buildings could be entered and searched. A really nice experience all around!
