Firebase Defence is a new spin on the traditional tower defence gameplay. You have to defend yourself from the waves upon waves of incoming enemies. You are free to build, place and manage your available resources and units in any way you want. But failing to balance those will result in defeat!

Base defender of it's finest, with mobile units and destructable defense measures. There are some good tactics here to utilize and all the objects are as useful as advertised!
You get a small tutorial in the beginning, learning curve is as easy as eating applepie. A commandbase to protect, a few units to spare, calling for support is there but has a cooldown and it's function is merely timed. Resources can be spend for placing extra objects, but you won't get them back when you changed your mind. There is a "campaign" which contain a certain amount of missions, your enemy is getting stronger. But you get a bigger arsenal as well. You earn also a steady supply of resources, so you can promote (level up) your units. They will become faster, better and stronger. Only the nimbles will survive the assault, the commandbase may not fall!
Who said small games can't do big impacts? I recommend!
Not a bad game over all except units get stuck off screen and sometimes in barriers and you cant shoot them meaning the entire level has to be redone. This needs to be fixed before I could recommend.
Took me over an hour to get to level 3, it's quite hard. It's well optimized and runs very smoothly, I like the artstyle. You're getting a great game for about $4. Only 2 negative points about the game: 1. you don't have any options for resolution or volume, I don't know why this wasn't implemented?! 2. Once you tab out you won't find the game in the task bar (most of the time) so you will have to find it in the task manager and either close it or hope for it to be double-clickable so you can hop back in. Overall a cool game and definitely worth the money.
worth the price. simple and enjoyable
Great game!
Deeper than you would expect. Harder too :) This is a nifty strategy game which plays a bit like a mix between the skirmish mode in Rimworld and traditional tower defense games. Hard, unforgiving but a lot of fun.
Missions were pretty easy, but fun, and when turning on hard mode it became more challenging. Nice defense game, and all units have their uses and are unique, and that goes for both the enemy and yourself. Strategy comes from where you put your fire superiority, as well as your defenses. Shooting is RNG ridden, meaning your men or the enemy will miss sometimes, which makes for interesting gameplay. Survival mode gave a pretty good challenge, and I've only beaten round 25 so far. Because of RNG, you can get screwed in the later levels of the survival mode when they concentrate all their vehicles on one side of your base. Regardless, it's a fun mode to play with a video in the background. Similar to the missions, strategy comes from unit placement and where a majority of your units are facing, but as the levels progresses, it gets hard to concentrate your fire power, so you have to think of other ways of overcoming this. One thing I was hoping was being able to buy and move vehicles in survival mode, but alas this isn't a thing, and I hope they add it in the future. I was also hoping for more missions, as well as more things to build. When you get far into survival mode, you'll be wanting more blood than materials, and materials start to just mount up and do nothing except buying the odd ammo box. However, for a four dollar game, it is good and I recommend it to those who like tower defense because that's essentially what it is, minus the lanes the enemies go in.
It's cheap, you should get at least 5 hours out of it. I encountered one game-crashing bug while playing.
