About
Beware! The game requires both players to have microphones and a stable internet connection. Also this game works in co-op mode only. Both players must communicate effectively to navigate the challenges and solve the puzzles. The game takes 4-6 hours to complete!
When a mysterious client leaves an old, dusty journal under your shop's door, its powerful magic is impossible to ignore. As the Inkwellers, you and your partner dive into the worlds hidden within enchanted journals, working together to solve puzzles, overcome magical challenges, and find a way forward.
Beyond the journal’s pages awaits a world shaped by magic, mystery, and strange challenges. To move forward, you and your partner must rely on each other — sharing clues, connecting ideas, and solving puzzles together.
Features:
Co-op Gameplay: This game is designed exclusively for two players. You'll need to work together, combining your wits and skills to solve puzzles and progress through the story.
Look closely, share what you find, and work together to understand each challenge before putting the solution into action.
Immersive Experience: Communication is crucial. Speaking to each other and sharing discoveries will be key to solving puzzles and advancing in the game.
Can you and your partner solve the puzzles hidden within the journal and find your way back? Step into a magical world built for two, where communication, teamwork, and careful observation are the only way forward.

Great Game, Great Art Direction and fun puzzles. Hal way through the game.
Quite nice, if a bit short.
very good. Original puzzle and cool story. didnt like the alchemy level though.
Des énigmes qui vous font croire que vous êtes intelligents. L'espace de quelques heures, j'ai eu l'impression que mon QI avait triplé. ( En fait non. )
Sehr schönes Spiel. Hat ca. 5,5 Std. Spielspaß gebracht. Nicht zu schwer, nicht zu einfach. Perfekt für einen cozy Spieleabend zu zweit!
A Fantastic Co-Op Puzzle Adventure
Inkwellers is exactly the kind of co-op puzzle game I love: creative, atmospheric, and genuinely built around communication. This is not just a puzzle game where a second player is added for convenience. The entire experience is designed around two people talking, observing, sharing clues, connecting ideas, and slowly figuring things out together. Every puzzle encourages real teamwork, and that makes the whole adventure feel much more rewarding.
What Makes It Great

Excellent co-op design: both players feel equally important throughout the game.
Clever puzzles: some sections are definitely challenging, but in a satisfying way.
Great atmosphere: the magical journal setting fits the game perfectly.
Beautiful visual style: the graphics are exactly right for the tone and identity of the game.
Strong communication focus: talking, comparing clues, and working together are essential.

A True Two-Player Experience
One thing I really appreciated is that there is no meaningful difference in importance between Player 1 and Player 2. Both players have things to discover, both players need to contribute, and both players feel involved from start to finish. That may sound simple, but in co-op puzzle games it is not always guaranteed. Inkwellers handles this extremely well, and because of that, both me and my partner enjoyed the experience equally.
The Puzzles
The puzzles are a lot of fun, especially if you enjoy games that make you stop, think, and communicate properly. Some parts can be difficult, but they are enjoyable to discover and satisfying to solve. The game does a great job of making progress feel earned without turning the challenge into frustration.
The Only Small Downside
The only real downside is for completionists. If you want to complete the game properly and collect every page for the related achievement, you should be ready to set aside around 4–5 hours in one session to go through all the levels carefully. It is not a major flaw, but it is definitely something worth knowing before starting, especially if you care about collecting everything.

Final Verdict
Inkwellers is a fantastic co-op puzzle adventure with a charming setting, clever challenges, great atmosphere, and excellent teamwork-focused gameplay. It is beautifully presented, fun to play, and perfectly balanced between mystery, communication, and puzzle solving. If you enjoy co-op puzzle games and have someone to play with, this is absolutely worth your time. Highly recommended.
Awesome visual graphism, puzzle not that hard but yet not simple. I really enjoyed it. I hope for a Inkwellers 2. ------------- Les visuels sont vraiment super beaux. Les énigmes pas facile, pas difficile, juste ce qu'il faut. J'espère vraiment un Inkwellers 2 ! Je recommande !
lovely videogame, it was really fun, has whimsy, looks nice, and has cat pictures 10/10
Please fix the bugs and we'll revisit it (For Devs: Specifically the symbols not being shown on constellations like sunset, sunrise, night, day. And in the big crystal room the 3 crystal dust have a really bad habit it falling into furniture and going missing; a reset items button would be amazing so we dont have to restart the entire level)
I've played it with my partner ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), cool game - loved the soundtrack and visuals, you can really feel the dreamlike vibe of the game. But beware, communication between partners is key in this game, thats why I initially struggled a bit with my partner, but ultimately this struggle it's also an element of puzzle in some way. This is key indigrient why every playthrough will be a bit different between people. Cool game to try out with people close to you, and also very cheap price. I cant wait for new games from the devs :)
