Jogo bem ruinzinho!
This game has a good tutorial in the begining, but when it came to how to release the movie it ♥♥♥♥ the bed, it really did not tell you how to do anything when it came to releasing
I like my management games, but this one.. this one is just too confusing, the Tutorial doesn't really explain a lot. I was at a loss of how to actually get the film I made into market, what I had to do to promote it, it is asking how many weeks for post release and stuff but I really don't know what it wants me to put here, how many units to make? well thats hard to say how many should I make there doesn't seem to be a good guide on what to do. the instructions aren't clear, the interface is clunky as hell, I just ended up spamming the next week button to see what happens, and let me tell you.. not a lot, I really had no idea what the hell I was doing, even after following the tutorial, it kept refering to the Manual but in this day if you have to resort to a manual then you're doing it wrong, you should be able to either a) Tell everything you need to know within the game and/or b) Give enough hints, as to what to do next which will ultimatly lead to the player figuring out for themselves what they are to do, meaning they feel they have done something right, or have learned from their own mistakes. I didn't get any sense of accomplishment when finishing the tutorial nor did it fill me with any desire to keep playing this game. There are many other games out there that do this sort of thing better, in short great concept just poorly executed. I may give it another try one day but for now, it will go into the dusty old vault with other games I bought on a whim.
Weird game, not very clear what to do or where to look. Tutorial is very slim, it says what buttons to push, but thats it. For such a game (if its the first time playing) I think we need more explaination.
tutorial isn't at all helpful, and it just doesn't explain what youre meant to be doing
I personally liked this game. But there are problems with it obviously so.... Updated: This game is unique one at best. In my personal opinion, it's enjoyable to a point. There are problems with the game. Problems: 1. It somewhat a confusing system to operate and well one of the people don't want to work together which could cause you problems or shelling out imaginary money to get one actor that will fly to the tibets and screw you picture up. 2. Other studios will beat you to the best actors and directors and everyone. Which makes it impossible to make a picture that is going get you money. 3. It's an average looking game. End of list for this update. The main ♥♥♥♥ of my problems are gameplay related. HOWEVER I really enjoy the game.
C'era una volta The Movies by Lionhead.
Originally thought this was a sequel to a movie making game I played before and actually liked... it was itneractive, you actually shot scenes, hired people, saw the work being done, wrote the scripts etc... this is just a spread sheet movie generation engine with terrible graphics and far too many windows that make little to no sense... Its very dated, and unless youre a "manage a business simulator without actually seeing any content but let the AI compute random impact of your movie on AI generated audiences", don't bother.
