Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The wilderness is waiting. The map is your only guide.
Infinite Orienteering: The Hiker's Path is a realistic navigation simulator that captures the essence of the sport. Dropped into a procedurally generated forest with nothing but a compass and a topographic map, your goal is simple: find the fastest route between control points.
Every ridge, every marsh, and every thicket is a choice. Do you climb over the hill to save distance, or is it faster to run around it? Do you bushwhack through the dense green forest, or take the longer route through the open pine woods?
Powered by procedural generation, no two races are ever the same. The game creates unique terrain, vegetation, infrastructure, and water features on the fly, ensuring that you can never memorize the map. Every race is a fresh test of your navigation skills.
Realistic Navigation: Use your compass to take bearings and your map-reading skills to interpret the terrain, transferable to the real-life skill of navigating with map and compass only.
2D and 3D Replay: Watch the race Replay. Optionally view the map replay in 3D for better terrain readability.
Compete on Infinite Maps: Generate billions of unique, open-world environments and courses. Share map seeds with the community if you find a map you like. Export and import others' replays as files to compete with friends. (More expansive competitive multiplayer features are planned in the future; in the meanwhile, use our Discord to share your runs and import others' to compete with the community.)
Night Mode: For a challenge, run at night! With only a forehead flashlight to illuminate your way.
Analysis: Watch your route after every race. Identify the splits where you lost time, whether you nailed a shortcut, and how you can improve for the next run.
Standard Mapping: Navigate using authentic topographic maps featuring accurate contours (5m intervals), vegetation density layers, and magnetic north lines, just like a real orienteering event. In the long run we're looking to include most map elements of the International Orienteering Federation's Mapping standard and follow their guidlines closely.
Race Your Way: Choose from Sprint, Middle, or Long distance courses, or customize the difficulty to match your skill level. Beat the clock, or go for a nice stroll, your choice. Choose between game modes Standard or Scramble.
Handbook: Become a master orienteer by studying the handbook to improve your technique.
Whether you are a veteran orienteer looking to train your map memory in the off-season, or a hiker who loves the peace of the virtual outdoors, Infinite Orienteering offers a pure, uncompromised simulation of movement through nature.
Lace up your boots. The clock is ticking.

Probably the best orienteering experience game there is. It really makes you feeeel like you are orienteering. It's a little rough around the edges in its current EA state but the ambition and feel is there for certain. Endless maps and a lot of fun ahead for sure.
Core mechanics are solid where I think the strength lies in how the gameplay interacts with terrain, I look forwards to seeing where this project goes in the future.
nice game easy to play

Suprisingly entertainting game. New update made it look so much better. Map seeds sometimes give impossible maps (compared to real life) and I have had a control point spawn inside a huge rock. But aside from that, it works well. The game gives you the simulated experience of orienteering, so good for training the absolute basics of it before actually doing it in a real track.
