INDIKA is a third-person, story-driven game set in a strange world where religious visions clash with harsh reality. It tells the story of a young nun who sets off on a journey of self-discovery with the most unusual, horn-headed companion by her side.
On the outside, Indika seems to be a typical nun attempting to adjust to a difficult and monotonous monastery life. Humble and innocent in her appearance, do not be deceived as this young girl has also made a highly unlikely acquaintance—as she speaks with the devil himself.

Indika’s unusual connection with the Evil One leads her on an errand beyond the safe walls of the monastery. The world she discovers can only be described as a wild combination of comedy and tragedy straight out of the novels by Dostoyevski and Bulhakov.
The subjects of religion and authority are prevalent throughout Indika’s journey and she’ll be faced with many questions along the way. Guide her to find the answers one by one before she can finish her life-defining odyssey.
Odd Meter is a small, independent studio formerly based in Moscow and now operating out of Kazakhstan. Its members put aesthetics at the forefront and aren’t afraid to tread the fine line of ethical norms. Their game is a great testament to that, as INDIKA constitutes an open challenge to the industry's established approach to creating video games.

Feels like an Eastern European art film. The gameplay's pretty standard, linear exploration and environmental puzzles, with flashbacks as pixel minigames, but it maintains a darkly funny, odd atmosphere with the story, cinematography—peppered with Dutch angles and fisheye lenses—score and pacing. It looks great with a primarily black-and-white palette and flashes of colour. One disclaimer is that it's very short. Five or six hours maximum but you could rush it half that. Another, the ending petered out. I understand the choice but it's anti-climatic and didn't feel like a summation of the journey. I got the game in a bundle but, had I known, I'd have preferred to wait until the end of Russia's invasion of Ukraine before I threw any money at a Russian company. (Not) to make excuses but, from the cover art, I thought it'd be Polish. ALL GLORY TO UKRAINE!

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A unique and interesting story with engaging gameplay. It has its quirks and a few rough edges here and there, but my time with it was absolutely worth it. The story is much deeper and more profound than I expected at the beginning. Recommended.
TL/DR: Decent game overall, but lacks true depth and under utilizes the concept for the story. I did like this game, but I feel it ends without out really being what it could have been. I don't necessarily mean it could see the character go and believe in God or have some kind of work within herself, but the story kind of just ends without any real meaning. They could have put more into the story than just questioning her beliefs the whole time. Like making two different endings dependent on your collection of faith tokens, but instead it just takes a nihilist perspective and says that it really is meaningless. I mean your literally having a battle in your head with a demon that has possessed you so you would figure that if the game is telling you that the tokens are pointless then that would be a good point to maybe make the player think that the narrator for the game is lying to you and they in reality are important. The created a concept where the tokens drain everytime you use the demons power for a puzzle, why not make it important to a player, who wants the main character to see the light, to use the demons power as little as possible. I think this game really did have a greater intent and potential behind it, but it swept it all away just to end it with a message that faith is pointless because the world is cruel. Who knows maybe someone will call me stupid in a comment and tell me I missed something and that their was another route to take, but until then this is my stance.
