The worst wannabe Tarkov i know
Considering GZW is also in pre-alpha, I can't really recommend this in it's current state. Edit after a few months: The game's performance is now garbage...

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ignore the negative reviews. i swear they must be playing a different game. or they are trying to run this on a low-end pc. or they played for 10 minutes and then decided its bad. i'll try to address some complaints i have seen and then share some thoughts ive had. optimization: the game is in alpha, and it is incredibly polished for an alpha build. so even if some complaints about optimization are valid, i don't understand why anyone would leave a negative review because of that. it's in alpha. yeah bro, i'm pretty sure they will get around to optimizing it. if your review is "10/10 game but negative because its unoptimized", that should be a positive review. I have a RTX 4070 and get about 70 fps on max settings. i realize not everyone will be able to do this, but overall the graphics are very good. and i've never experienced any crashes or serious visual bugs. there are a few things that they clearly haven't gotten to yet. dynamic sun shadows for instance are kind of gross looking, especially in the jungle, even on max settings. considering the alpha state, the graphics are decent overall. size on disk: yeah its 65 GB. whatever man idk. disk space doesn't really matter to me if I'm actively playing the game. AI: another common complaint point seems to be the enemy AI, which is baffling to me. i'm not a extraction shooter fanatic or anything (I have at least 100 hours in tarkov) but I think the AI here is really cool and seems innovative. for one, there are multiple difficulty settings (unlike tarkov pve), plus a bunch of enemy AI parameters you can tweak manually. I was genuinely impressed with the AI tracking me by the last location i engaged them at, or they saw me at, which then allows you to set up realistic flanks and stuff. it also seems like enemies act differently depending on their role, like infantry will push out to engage while snipers will stay in their nests, even if they are all aggro'd. sometimes enemies will make a big dynamic push to engage, other times they will engage quietly (like on Bunker. very spooky). you can tweak settings to make them more covert. this isn't like tarkov where enemies are constantly moving around the map. groups apparently spawn at set locations, albeit randomly per-raid (i think?), so very often you will be engaging them at the same locations, but they definitely do move around too. i just did like 10 raids on the same map, got used to one particular stretch of road being empty, got cocky thinking i could run through it, then suddenly i ran into a duo there and they caught me by surprise. it kind of gives you a false sense of security once you learn the map, because then sometimes you're randomly running into guys patrolling the jungle where you weren't expecting. again, considering it's alpha, it's very cool imo. some things i would like to see improved: * UI. it could be more efficient. there are occasional annoying bugs, but nothing serious. * Recoil. as others have pointed out, it is a bit unrealistically high. although, this just made me almost never use full-auto, which ultimately fits nicely with the other mechanics. * there is no prone yet. I assume they will add it at some point. * even on the lowest difficulty, enemies can still one tap you. in some cases this makes sense, but enemies are just a little too powerful overall. * i'd love to see an insurance system like tarkov has. its pretty devastating to spend a bunch of money making the ultimate badass rifle, then lose it forever because random Vietnamese rebel #3001 got a single lucky shot on me. secure containers would also be cool. * there is a "provided loadout" option that serves sorta the same purpose as scav runs on tarkov. the difference is you lose everything on extract. this is actually neat if you're having a rough time and just want to finish some quests (mission objectives and resource gathering is persistent). but, if they want to keep it that way, it would be cool to be able to upgrade your provided loadout, similar to how you improve your hideout. the default provided loadout is actually surprisingly strong. * as cool as the Vietnamese jungle setting is, it would be cool to have some more varied options. i haven't played all the maps yet though. * spatial audio is actually pretty good, all things considered, but there are some weird edge cases. ambient sounds can change abruptly when going between rooms indoors. sometimes my footstep sounds don't really line up with my character movements realistically, as if my feet are not right underneath my body. this is a rather unpleasant sensation. overall, as someone who really enjoyed tarkov pve but has wanted a slightly easier, straightforward, less frustrating (imho) experience, this game is fun and very promising. if you're going to complain about an alpha game being in alpha, then just go back to playing fortnite or some ♥♥♥♥
Only negative due to optimization issues regarding UE5. I had some great gunfights and i love the gameplay but this is almost unplayable and maybe part of that problem is my 7 year old card at 1440P low. Still makes no sense either way as the card has the same performance as a RTX 3060 or 2070 Super and i am playing at 50% TSR on the lowest settings that is almost less then 1080P rescaled. I can not be asked or bothered to buy a 649€ Video card like the RX 9070 to bruteforce performance or a 544€ RTX 5060 TI just to fix the blurry mess with DLSS it is just not a option. This needs to be adressed , it is generally ridiculous as i will follow up on the development of the game over time.
This is alpha stage development, and even the goal of the game isn't clear, everything is off here, sounds, ligths .. everything.
We need Chinese plz.
Really enjoy playing this in Early Access, of course there are some bugs, but the gameplay and that you can play with friends and scale the AI is a great experience, the AI pathing needs some work, but really a great experience and definitely great work. The visuals are great and I enjoy the missions.
still after 2 years most buildings are empty, no direction or map so no idea what you need to do or where to go. save your money go play tarkov pve at this point.
