It's just a horrible knock off of a great game. They copied everything but the name. The enemy patterns, colours, background etc. Just Buy Geometry Wars and don't give them any money.
The first Incandescent is a classic. But this one is just super bad. Also you might get seizure playing this one.
Игра вылетает через пару минут после старта. За 3 года разработчик так и не удосужился что-то исправить... В обсуждениях рекомендуют поменять кое какие настройки в Windows но нужно ли лезть в систему ради задрипанной инди дрисни?
I like it. I love the music and the colours! The gameplay was not too hard really but it was entertaining and with easy to get achievements. I got my copy dirt cheap so it was totally worth it for me! High replay value so I will coming back to play it again, and again and again! My game crashed in the second wave so I changed my regional formatting to English on my PC and that fixed the problem!
Like a neon candle in space ...
A good sequel to the original Incandescent. It's easier to beat because right at the moment there are just 10 achievements and the hardest is to survive for 1 round (10 levels). Somehow I have some horrible screen flashes during the gameplay.
I am the best Incandescent player in the world, I am at the top of the global leaderboard with a point lead of 1,600,000. My fingers were so numb by the time i reached wave 100 that I could barely feel the keys
Incandescent 2 is a cheap knock-off of Geometry Wars, only worse, of course. Geometry Wars is a cheap knock off of the 1962 oscilliscope game, SpaceWar!, and was also inferior to the game it was ripping off. So here we are. It's come to this. I'm writing a review of a game so bad that it's a knockoff of a knockoff of a science experiment from 59 years ago. I would have hoped video game development might have progressed a bit from then. Stephen Crabb is here to reject all technological advancement by dumping this garbage onto Steam (and DailyIndieGame crapware bundles). Anyway this is just a godawful retro neon SpaceWar! ripoff with no notable value to PC gamers.
Well, could be better. It's even a bit too easy for someone like me who is a novice in the genre. If the game crashes in the second wave the workaround is to change your regional formatting to English.
It's a beautiful game, I think the colors could be more neon, more incandescent. But even so, the colors are beautiful to look at, it's a good game to play. Gameplay is original and fun. But also the gameplay is challenging. It has a world ranking and other statistics. I recommend it to all players in the steam gaming community.
no. also crashes on wave2
